Good morning dahlings. So today's Steph's big day - I need to go post in her thread and then I'm going to have a really really productive day! So I won't be back until much later! Really!

Kristin! How are you sweetie?

We are doing pretty well - Mike's working this weekend, so we won't be seeing much of him. Got my dryer door fixed, so I have to start catching up on the mountainous piles of laundry in my house. :dazzle: What are you up to today?

Right now, hanging out with my boy (he's playing with his cars) while we wait for Lou and Abby to get back from soccer. We were all going to go, but at 8 a.m. (when it starts) it was 34 degrees here.... a bit too cold for Matthew to be sitting outside. Later we're going to a friend's annual Octoberfest party. Hopefully it's a little warmer, then...

Glad you go the dryer fixed. That would drive me nuts. The laundry here piles up sooo fast, it's not funny. :lol: Hope you guys have a great day!

Money is always a perk. :D Like I told Kristin earlier, it's mega laundry for me today; around 1 though, Joel is going to pay a short visit to my sister's house and I'm stopping over at the school for a benefit auction. Our school nurse's husband was diagnosed with a rare form of leukemia, and items have been donated that will be auctioned off. There's nothing this lady wouldn't do for any student in our school, and I want to be there briefly as a show of support. I don't know whether Abby will come with me or visit along w/ Joel - I've left that up to her.

We're doing a birthday dinner for MIL at the nursing home today, so I have to start cooking soon.

I just had the most wonderful apple dip.
It was cream cheese
vanilla
brown sugar
sugar
and toffee bits. :slurp:

The apples were soaked in pineapple juice so they wouldn't turn brown but it made the apple slices even tastier. :slurp::sohappy:
