Have you ever had a name for a ride either then its real name?

My mom called Big Thunder Mountain the Runaway Mine Train. I was sure that used to be its name, but I guess it was her own invention. We went back together just this week for the first time in over 15 years, and that was still how she remembered it. I'll have to post some pictures on the POTD thread. We had a lot of fun.
My parents still call it the runaway train ride. :)

It wasn't me who said it, but when I was showing my old boss' 4 year old son pictures from WDW, I showed him a picture of Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin and he said "Mommy look its BIGHT LEAR!!!" Thats how he says Buzz Lightyear. And Pirates of the Caribbean he pronounces as "Piratesofagabbean" <-- all one word lol. Its the cutest thing :)

My family calls Big Thunder Mountain Railroad...." Big Fat Rocky Mountain Spotted Fever Railroad "... it came from listening to the song that plays in the queue line, "Big Rock Candy Mountain", over and over one day...we were tired and a little "punchy" and now as far as we are concerned that's it's name.

As a kid who didn't have a clue what these rides were called when I was tiny, they were:

The Giant Golf Ball (Spaceship Earth)
Figment (Journey into Imagination)
The Orange Ride (Horizons) (remember the orange grove part?)
The Great American Movie Ride (Great Movie Ride- I still mess this up)
The Michael Jackson Ride (Captain EO)
The Singin Birds (The Tiki Room)
The Mine Cars (Big Thunder Mountain)
The Dinosaur Ride (Universe of Energy)

I'm sure there was more. Mostly just observations than actually getting the name wrong.

Oh and my favorite was just my little brothers and I begging not to go on the "Really Boring Ride" that was actually World of Motion. It put any small child to sleep the minute their butts hit those seats!

Any conversation we have at home about Maelstrom always ends with "Back back over the falls!"

And as kids, my sister and I usually called SSE the golf ball, too. I think that one is pretty standard.

And after our last trip, we call the Country Bear Jamboree "Oh God, never again!"
