The "Haunted Theater" attraction that was there before the Scooby overlay was actually a pretty interesting Mansion-inspired ride.
It had a Morgan omnimover system and copied a lot of the Mansion's more popular stunts, including an organist, busts that follow you, and even a miniature recreation of the Pepper's ghost ballroom.

WOW that brings back memories. We only went to Kings Island once, but I vividly remember freaking out about going on this ride and closing my eyes for much of it.
I was probably 7 or 8. That scary guy playing the organ in the queue did not ease my fears.
No "happy haunts" in the Phantom Theater.

It has been moved to near the Queue entrance.What happened to this plaque? I do not see it on any of the posts pictured above.

That just does it right there. They have ruined the whole park. Walt himself planted that sign when it was just a mere tin Coke sign.

The sign looks much better in person. It's not green like in some night photos. It's more of a golden yellow.

I actually like the look. But if I had a complaint, it would be that the word Disney needs an 's.

A Standby Queue that would be much shorter if they were not trying to force Fastpass onto an Omnimover. It failed before and it will fail again. unless of course Disney once again learns nothing and changes the system to Fastpass+ Booking one year in advance. fortunately, I think this is as bad as it's going to get. The Three Stooges will be gone in the near future.
