Has anyone spent 2 weeks at WDW?

Oh my... I was stressing out when I had 14 to manage and make sure were everywhere I needed them to be. I couldn't imagine 19! Bless you!
I have an aunt who doesn't have any kids who likes to take us. I think this is the 4th time she has taken us all (of course the family has grown through the years). I thank her very much for all the saving and planning she does.

We did have one incident during the week where my mom started to melt down over the stress of keeping track of all the kids (they were of course all being watched, but she's a worrier), but overall we got through it and it was a great vacation.

In my family we came to the conclusion that you really need to spend 10 days there to get everything in comfortably - though this is with the Universal parks as well (water parks included).

I think I've been for 2 weeks at least 3 times and I certainly didn't get bored. I'd love to go back for a month if I'm honest. Well, I mean I'd love to get a house there and go whenever I like if I'm really honest.

Wow! Are you serious?! That's awesome!
Yeah, totally serious. My record is six weeks. And no, not a moment too long!

Of course we did everything on that trip, from several days at Busch on the west coast to Cape Kennedy on the east coast. But we always stayed at a hotel in Orlando. You know, some people take a two week holiday at the beach. We figured, well why not combine that with WDW. Lie in the sun near a pool all day long, have some dinner at night, and then alternate that with days at Disney or around Orlando. So you still only go to EPCOT or the MK once or twice a week, mostly only for half days. So even after six weeks your total time at EPCOT is only about six days, which means you're nowhere near tired of it by the end. Not at all, in fact! It only becomes worse to leave!

Six weeks was only once though, an exception. Usually it is two to three weeks. My record shortest WDW trip is two weeks. Ah, the bliss of lenghty European holidays!

We did 21 days this year; 11 Disney days with 10 park days (2 were half days). We had a blast and I can't see myself doing less than 8 days at Disney, it'd be not as enjoyable . We tour slowly, really paying attention to all the details and taking our time to move from land to land.

Our next visit we're doing 23 days. Disney will take 12 1/2 days with 10 park days again. We arrive on Halloween and we're staying at Hard Rock Hotel at Universal before moving on to Disney. I want to attend the last MNSSHP on November 1st and that will be our half day. Then we check in at POFQ on the 11th and stay till November 23.

Yeah. I was a teenager. I was in the beginning stages of a "too cool for Disney stage". We took a 14 day vacation with my parents, two sisters and another family that we were close to. It was my first time at the Yacht cub. We stayed 7 days there and 7 at the Beach club. It made me fall in love with Disney all over again. Saw a side I never had before and became addicted. I've since learn to appreciate all of the little details and also learned about everything there was to do besides the parks. I can honestly say if it wasn't for that trip I wouldn't be the Disney fan I am today and my children would've missed out on some really cool experiences

We had the trip of 14 and the Disney Bus driver shut the door after my 7 yo niece and before her mom got on the bus and wouldn't let her on. They said, sorry we are full. We could only assume grandma was in front her because we didn't see her either. You want to see melt down! But be being the Disney veteran I ran over to the Disney Transport SUV and told him what bus she was on and such. He brought up the bus on the laptop and we could see where it was.. He phoned it in and immediately there was a cast member waiting at the bus drop to make sure she wasn't by herself. The transport manager took us over to POFQ in his company car... Was kinda cool to have Disney Transport take you in their SUV and all the shortcuts over to your resort. Sure enough, she was with Grandma, but her mom was frantic.

M first visit we arrived Sun late after noon after driving two days to get there, Spent the evening at DTD, was at rope drop Monday Morning at MK, Tuesday was Epcot, Wed was MK again and Thursday was Animal Kingdom. We checked out of our room Friday morning went back to DTD for souvenirs and munchies for the road trip back. Arrived home late Sat night. The 4 days in the park felt rushed even though we took our time walking around I still feel like we've missed so much. Oh and it didn't help I lost my phone on a bus Monday night and Dear Hubby spent Tues trying to track it down. Note to self never lose anything at WDW.

Edit: Though I doubt I will be ale to get Dear Hubby to go longer then 5 days at the park due to his work

My family did a 14 day trip a couple of years ago. We stayed in a cabin @Ft. Wilderness. It was the last week of July and first week of August. I'm so glad we had that much time so we could enjoy the parks and leave in the afternoon and swim or nap.

Have done 6 days as a kid and as an adult 5. That's fine for me. I've been to Disney enough that I don't have to do everything. I just want a long weekend away from reality. I'll be back in a few months for more.

We stayed for 14-17 days every year for 15 years. College for the kids has put a crimp into that these days. You do the parks more relaxed that way. No hurry to get up, never too tired to have a swim. It was really nice.

In the UK it is almost expected that we have a 2 week summer vacation. When you take into account the cost of flights (which are the same no matter how long you stay) and the distance travelled I wouldn't dream of going for anything less than 12 days.
It does help that generally our employee benefits seem to be much better than those in the US. I get 7 weeks paid vacation time a year, so even if I use 2 or 3 weeks for a trip to Florida I still have a good amount to do other things.

Thats how we started , for the first 20 years of visiting non-stop , but the last few years we take are time and relax a little more. Still get up at 6:00 in the morning for the first few days , than flake out on the 4th/5th day. :)

Thats the reason why my wife and I are there for 3weeks in November, to relax a bit more. Thats the idea but we will have to wait and see if it becomes a reality:cool::D

As I'm also in the UK, it seems almost pointless to stay for seven days or less. No sooner are you there and have gotten over the jet lag, you're packing your bags and on your way out. We have always done the two weeks (minus two days arriving and leaving). This year, we're hoping to stay for nearly three.

Did 10 days (7 in WDW and 3 at Uni) twice when I was younger. It's really a perfect amount of time to see everything, but now that I pay for the trips myself, the cost makes it too hard to do anymore.

We spent 15 nights on property mostly @ AKL. Loved every minute of it!

(However it does make our current trips of 7 nights seem to go by too fast.)
