Has anyone spent 2 weeks at WDW?

I have done 14 and 15 day trips several times over the years. It can be a bit exhausting. To be truthful, I'm usually pretty sick of it all by the last few days. In retrospect, I wish that I had peppered the schedules more effectively with non-park activities such as pool days, wilderness area activities, miniature golf, and non-Disney attractions. I think that the cheapskate in me just can't bear to have AP's and not use them by skipping the parks. The Disney property, along with the Orlando area, has so much to do that a two week trip is more than possible. I've just never done it well enough to desire doing it again any time soon.

First two weeks of December 2012. Very Merry Mickey with Fireworks Desert Party and 10 days of other ADRs ... We got to the saturation point where we just didn't want to eat any more. We did have a blast though and were able to eat at every dinning location we wanted.

We have done 11 days. Makes it a wonderful, stress free, slow leisurely vacation. While others are running feverishly for FPs, and having to worry about dining reservations, etc... We were carefree and completely relaxed. No rush, no need to do everything in a day per park. Just a wonderful relaxed vacation with my family unit. Our shortest trip is 9 days, and it is also just as relaxing and stress free.

Does anyone take, or has anyone taken a 2 week vacation and dedicated it solely to WDW. We just got back from a 7 day vacation, which was probably our longest trip with the entire family, but when we got back my sister and I were talking about how nice it would be to have TWO weeks there. Of course, I don't know if that would be possible financially or realistically for us. But it sure would be nice to be able to totally relax the first week and take the parks completely at your own pace without having to worry about packing things in to get everything done. Especially with the our huge family vacation (there were 19 of us this time!).

Anyway, I was wondering if anyone has taken a 2 week vacation, and dedicated it solely to WDW?
Last trip was 24 Days in Disney!!! AWESOME!!

Funny enough,we were considering 3 weeks last year, but to be honest, after 14 days of 6.30am starts, and midnight finishes. We had seen it,done it,watched it,filmed it,ate it,drank it,laughed at it,cried at it.Got the T- Shirt to prove it..On that last morning we were bushed and ready for home..

The trick is to incorporate some chill out days Hatter! 6am starts everyday?? no way!!

Come on as @real mad hatter says. We just got back and sleeping until 6am would have been sleeping in. My older ds isn't much younger than you and we even camped out our first night for SWW. You're young and only live once!

Join me, together we can rule the galaxy.
Most of our holiday trips have been 14 to 16 days, anything more than 14 days requires local resort "approval" to verify the rooms can be reserved for that long, especially since we always request adjoining rooms.

We always have a great time, take a couple days out of the parks in the middle to "rest" and relax some, go to DD or simple just hang out at the pool.

I feel like in theory this sounds really fun but as some other members commented, after about 3-4 days, I'm ready to say goodbye. Maybe spending 3-4 days at the parks and then another week just relaxing around the property and at the resort would be nice but I don't know about 2 weeks of parks. I never want to get "fed up" of Disney and I feel like that would be the ticket to ruin IMO! :)

Now that my two kids are out of strollers, a full day of walking a park needs to be followed up by a day of rest, so in a typical one-week stay we never plan for more than 3 days at any parks. The only way I'd consider doing more park days than that is if we go during the cooler off-season, or if we do a two-week stay during the busy season. The latter is my dream, and we're working towards doing it before the kids are all grown up!
