Has anyone spent 2 weeks at WDW?

We did 11 days two years ago at BLT. We went to Winn Dixie and bought a good amount of food to cook in our one bedroom reservation. We spent plenty of time just hanging at the pool and we did go to a park every day, but not for the entire day everytime.
Highly recommend an extended vacation, it is great for the Disney soul!

Now that my two kids are out of strollers, a full day of walking a park needs to be followed up by a day of rest, so in a typical one-week stay we never plan for more than 3 days at any parks. The only way I'd consider doing more park days than that is if we go during the cooler off-season, or if we do a two-week stay during the busy season. The latter is my dream, and we're working towards doing it before the kids are all grown up!
 One day walking in a park..The next day resting..No way..With me it's a Disney 24/7 vacation..My slogan is " No stopping till your dropping or ill have you hopping & bopping all day long." ;)

One Little Spark...
Does anyone take, or has anyone taken a 2 week vacation and dedicated it solely to WDW. We just got back from a 7 day vacation, which was probably our longest trip with the entire family, but when we got back my sister and I were talking about how nice it would be to have TWO weeks there. Of course, I don't know if that would be possible financially or realistically for us. But it sure would be nice to be able to totally relax the first week and take the parks completely at your own pace without having to worry about packing things in to get everything done. Especially with the our huge family vacation (there were 19 of us this time!).

Anyway, I was wondering if anyone has taken a 2 week vacation, and dedicated it solely to WDW?

2010 - 14 days at WDW
2011 - 14 days at WDW
2012 - 12 days at WDW
2013 - 12 days at WDW

Yep...I have. <grin>

When I did WDW only trips (2010 and 2011) I spent the first 4 days doing whole days in each park. Then, the rest of the week was just coasting and enjoying. Picking up side items like the water parks, mini-golf, DisneyQuest, etc, as well as spending partial days in the parks.

I enjoy going for longer periods. It removes a lot of the hustle and bustle of the trip, and allows you to slow down and soak it all in.

We'll be at WDW August 5-20. 16 days of not leaving Disney property. We're not spending everyday at a theme park but added the WP&M option for the water parks and mini golf. Also planned a day at Ft. Wilderness fishing, pony ride, wagon ride and seeing the campfire movie. A DTD day at DisneyQuest then going to see Yeehaw Bob at POR. Matinee movie at AMC and a trip to ESPN WWoS, never been there. Lazy pool/laundry day at the resort then dinner and The Cult concert at House of Blues. Park days we are always one of the first at rope drop. Other days we make good use of the "Do Not Disturb" sign. :) Also have days that are interchangeable in case of bad weather and we only have a few ADR's at our favorite restaurants so we don't feel stressed about being on a daily schedule.

We normally do 2 weeks in Disney. It gives us enough time to do all we want, visiting each park multiple times as well as DTD area. We don't feel rushed to get everything in all at once. That time span also allows us time to fit in a couple of off site visits and dinner theaters as well. I would love to have the opportunity for longer (3 weeks) but circumstances limit me at this time to only do 2 weeks. There have been a couple of trips where I stayed 10 days and those 4 less days were certainly missed. It felt like my trip was cut in half.

I took 14+ days, but would visit the Uni parks, Sea World and Gatorland, as well. We stayed in condos.

It is much more relaxing when you have the luxury of time and the space of a nice, big condo. It's an entirely different vacation...and a much better one, IMO. :)

Curse this thread for inspiring me to waste 15 minutes of my workday using Excel to map out a 2-week dream vacation.
Make sure to save it, because now the seed has been planted in your brain....
You will be going for 2 weeks soon...
Resistance if futile...
The great thing about excelling it out it next time and the following times are easy to just copy and alter.:D

We did 15 days several years ago. It was an awesome vacation simply because we were able to do everything and anything we wanted. We had no schedule at all and came and went as we wanted. It was amazing and I;m glad we did it but I would not go that long again. It definitely dragged a little at the end.
No fast passes, no ADR's, no rushing around... The way a vacation is supposed to be.
