Okay I get off work at 3:00 P.M. and my dad is picking me up and he is going to drive up to DisneyWorld and we will get to Mgm at about 6:00 p.m. or 6:30 p.m. and we will go on some rides and stuff and then at 9:00 p.m. we will go to the Fantasmic show and after the Fantasmic show is over we will come back home :) Anyways I want to know if anyone else has ever done something like this he he >

I used to be able to do that when we lived on the east coast near Melbourne. Now that I'm stuck in a cornfield in Indiana the most I can do is buzz down for a four day weekend. *SIGH*

Not old, just vintage.
I wish I could do that. Unfortunately it would take me about 21 hours of driving just to get to WDW. :brick:

I'm glad I live 1000 miles away. I like to make an event out of it and have a week of relaxation.

In fact, I was in Orlando for business a few times and didn't even stop by.

Glad you had fun though.:)

yea i did that, i live about an hr north of miami, so for me to get to orlando it would take about 2 and a half hours, but anyway, it was around 4pm on a tuesday and me and my girlfriend were just on the couch watching disneyworld on modern marvels, and we got so excited about going, that we ended up sayin "f*** it, lets go" we got there around 730... enough time to ride my favorite: splash mountain and her favorite: peter pan eat a turkey leg and watch wishes....definitly worth it, even tho we spent more time driving than actually being in the park....but i would do it again in a heartbeat... in fact we're actually planning on going tomorrow to check out the new sse post show... probably get there around 2 or 3 pm....i dont care , as long as i can watch wishes and have that" dsney feeling" if only for a lil while:(

My wife & I did Sunday... I looked at her & asked "what do you want to do today?" She looked at me & said, "Let's go to the Magic Kingdom!" And then about 30 minutes later, we arrived at the front gates via monorail. Got to try out the Monster's Laugh Floor.
