The ratings tanked last year for the Boston Pops up against Macy's extravaganza.

We listened to it on the radio, too. But we fondly remember watching it on A&E. CBS took it over last year, then abandoned it.

They've been doing that here since Memorial day. This will go on all summer here. It does muffle the sound of drive-by shootings though....

Yeah, the fireworks have been going for a while now. The music doesn't fit the theme of Independence Day at all.
