Happy Independence Day! Which state do you originally hail from?

I am another New Jerseyian to add to the list. If you are familiar with the stereotype map of my state, I am from "Springsteen Country" (Here is the map if you haven't: http://imgur.com/Pwnf4). My area also brought us Danny DeVito and Jack Nicholson.

We are apparently stronger than the storm (Take that nature!), but we sadly all suffer from a terrible disorder that prevents us from being able to pump our own gas.
I never understood how people could pay more to pump their own:eek:

Anyone else watching A Capitol Fourth on television?

And I am really, truly disappointed--no, I'm actually angry--that no channel is nationally televising the Boston Pops Independence Day concert and fireworks.

I always watch the Boston Pops too. I look forward to watching it every year. So disappointed. I wonder why no one televised that special.

LOL...I remember 78 vinyl..The Andrew Sisters..;)
78s? Now those were the true "Albums" in the literal sense. My father had several old albums, and by albums I mean 3-6 78 records in an "album", and each record, yes the entire record only had one song on each side!! I only go back to the LP 33s, which most peeps mistake for an "Album".

Some of the early 78s only played on one side, and didn't play for much more than 2-3 mins...........
