I put powder just because I like it. But really, as long as its soap (and not sanitizer) I am good with it.

Sometimes I would really like a bar of soap, but your not going to find that.

Actually it's not that nasty! I don't wash my kids hands with soap b/c they have extremely sensitive skin and most hand soaps cause them to break out! I clean their hands with sensitive skin wipes and then they use a foaming hand sanitizer (that has no alcohol and doesn't bother their skin)! Very rarely will I use soap in a public place unless I know what kind it is!

I myself prefer the foaming kind and it's generally easier for kids to use!

I can understand that.:) What I was referring to is the people that you see exit the bathroom stall and then walk straight to the door and open it to leave. That always freaks me out because I have just washed my hands and I am going to have touch a door that a person that has not washed theirs after going to the bathroom!! So I also carry hand sanitizer and usually if there is a door to open I grab an extra paper towel to open it with.

I like either the lotiony kind or foaming....really doesn't matter to me either way. I would like to see automatic hand sanitizers installed at the exit of the bathroom for another option and at the exit of all the attractions.

In Hersheypark in PA they have Purell dispensers at the end of most of the rides, and situated near a lot of the snack stands. We stopped at everyone we passed!

Anyway--I picked the powder soap--I miss it!

I do wish Disney would put in some hand sanitizers around the parks, that would be nice. It is gross when people don't wash their hands, they could have at least rinsed their hands!

Not old, just vintage.

This was one of my favorite parts about HersheyPark. I am not a huge fan of hand sanitizer (I personally think for the most part it can do more harm than good) but there were times I was happy to have it there. It's better than nothing at all. I would be very happy if Disney installed similar devices throughout the parks.

Did you know that about half of the people that use the park restrooms actually wash their hands?

It's not truly scientific, but it is an eye-opening observation.

I once saw a T-shirt that was advertising 'Lady MacBeth Hand Soap'.

:animwink:

Doctor:
What is it she does now? Look how she rubs her hands.

Gentlewoman:
It is an accustom'd action with her, to seem thus
washing her hands. I have known her continue in this a quarter of
an hour.

Lady Macbeth:
Yet here's a spot.

Doctor:
Hark, she speaks. I will set down what comes from her, to
satisfy my remembrance the more strongly.

Lady Macbeth:
Out, damn'd spot! out, I say!

Hand Sanitizer should be affixed to the wall just outside the door to the restroom (for those restrooms which have doors, and not airport-style open zig-zag entrances). In addition to foaming soap at the sink inside the restroom, of course.

Being a person in the plumbing industry I can tell you for your drain pipes foam soap is better,Liquid soap doesent break down as well and eventually plugs up the pipes. The liquid soap turns black in the pipes.Ask any guy who works for Roto Rooter they will tell you to use Foam soap.

due to all the swine flu and whatever going around an antibacterial soap and gel would be great. they should put dispensers near those finger scan things as well.

I like the foam. I also think kids enjoy washing with the foamy soap so it would encourage them to scrub longer, I think.

I also use hand sanitizer throughout the day. But hand sanitizer alone isn't ideal.
