The Hall of Presidents is expected to return from a lengthy refurbishment on July 4, 2009.
Curses! I was hoping it would be done by next June.
So July?

I remember when they added Bush to the HoP. They put signs out front advertising you could now "Come meet our Newest President!" I think that was the last time I saw HoP with almost full audience. I think adding anything new will draw crowds for a period of time.

They are giving Washington a well deserved speaking role.Pumbas, I'm glad we don't have memorize that long list of British kings and queens. 44 presidents is enough.

maybe Soarin' will fall into line with this...It's hard to feel like I'm flying when there are huge black defects on the film!

With an end to that can we move on and talk more about the refurb? When I was there I noticed there need to be a new film, it was a bit scratchy for my taste. Can't they install digital projects so the films look brand new every showing (Epcot, cough cough). . . .just a thought.

I know I for one will be very interested to see the refurbished Hall of Presidents upon my return to the Magic Kingdom (which is not currently scheduled, but certainly anticipated ).
