I'd be surprised if the current president, real or robo, wound up on the front of a park map — basically serving as the "face" of the entire park, as it were. I could see a more generic HoP teaser, but it seems like you'd irritate too many people by having a contemporary political figure welcome everybody to the park...of any party, and during pretty much any era. (Lincoln is practically a saint now, but half the country hated him in 1861. Same principle.)

Completely agree. I cannot imagine Disney would ever put a relatively current president on the front cover due to the possible political undertones (Unfortunately, Wilt Dasney, you are right...some people always look at things this way and would complain), but a generic for HOP would be appropriate and well-deserved. Honestly, I feel there are many people who have never even taken part in this attraction, especially people who have only been down a few times because the previous entrance is relatively subtle and not outwardly yelling 'Attraction here'.

I feel they probably just think it is some lame movie and not understand the amazing animatronics inside and the greatness of the show, which sounds like it has hopefully been improved even further. I mean, watching Lincoln speak...there is not much like that.

I was thinking this as I was typing. Maybe the could have everything I previously said minus Obama. It could still make a nice cover.

Putting the old attraction poster back under the Train station with the others would also promote awareness, along with some patriotic bunting on the top and bottom and "newly renovated" on a sign above.

Right. Perhaps put Obama, Lincoln and Washington since they are all speaking.

I am hoping they are doing soft openings on July 2 (My birthday) they last time I was at the Magic Kingdom on my Birthday I got to ride the recently refurbished Pirates of the Caribbean. In a boat all by myself

Me too. But they didn't put SSE on park maps... they kept Nemo, of all things, on there. That says something about TDO.

I never thought I would see the Hall of Presidents on a park map...

We have a deal with our teen-aged daughter that we only go to Hall of Presidents when there is a new animatronic, so I am looking forward to getting to visit it on my next trip.

They couldn't get the size of Obama's ears just right, so they're referencing long lost Dumbo prototypes to try and approximate the size they need.

Yes I Can.... make fun of Obama too.
