because once im banned disney will suddenly announce all kinds of wonderful new rides and refurbishments right? You should stop being so sensitive and rude to me.

On topic: I am fairly confident this will be a true Disney quality experince. My one and only fear at this point is if it will have any of the ol'Fitzgerald cringey/cheesy writing ("I think I oiled myself", "remember how easy it was to learn your ABC's?")

If they handle this seriously and make the attraction epic I will be one happy camper. It will certainly breathe new life into HOP which was a very popular attraction in the 70s/80s but for some reason stopped pulling in the crowds sometime in the 90s onward. Between this and HM, Liberty Square is easily the best land in MK right now and the only one up to Disney standards.

Fitzgerald actually wrote the script to the 2nd and 3rd versions of SSE, which were both good. I don't know how the guy lost his way. :shrug:

I can tell you the exact attraction where he lost his way: Honey, I Shrunk the audiance

"and what does your mouse eat little boy?"

"hot dogs, buggers, and pizza!" :hurl:

I should have known it was downhill at the Disney parks right then and there. :mad:

So ROE, ToN, MS, Soarin, Philhar, Wishes, HM refurb and various other good additions over the years have been horrible?

havign said that, I really feel like Epcot needs a new nighttime experience (see: parade).. I know ToN/ToD had issues with the puppets and CM safety.. Why not re-work the parade again? devise a way (they are imagineers after all) to take the load of the CM and have them simple 'control' the limbs of a limited amounted of re-used puppets... Having a load-bearing vehicle nearby would NOT a big deal in the least... there are solutions.....


I just wish Epcot had a nighttime parade again, Tapestry was great, however unsafe for CM's, it was great... I say rework it with a safer set up, and re stage the show :)

Do you recall the pre Tapestry Epcot? World Showcase was meant to be a plaza for people to eat and drink and enjoy... not a place to avoid a parade.

That being said, if the guest satisfaction scores for ToD were high enough, Disney would've continued giving 2 _______ about CM safety and the parade would still be there.

And I was there to give Buckner a standing O at opening day in 2008. I was only 4, but after years of torment from Yankees fans prior to 04, I still resent quite a bit that happened before then.

Back to Hall of Presidents, how many of the Disney regulars only see Hall of Presidents when there's an administration change?

I was talking about Tom Fitzgerald. You should read what the discussion is about before jumping in wanting to prove the other person wrong.

However since you want to get into this discussion again sorry but nobody is ever going to hail MS as a classic disney attraction no matter how many times the same 10 people on here prop it up. It'll never be up there with Pirates, HM, Indy, Journey to the center, etc. I bet you right now if they made a list of every Disney attraction and people voted MS would wind up lower than stuff like tea cups and dumbo. It's better than shlock like MILF and SGE but that isn't saying much.

ToN is long gone. Wishes and ROE are fireworks shows and have nothing to do with this and im not going to comment on refurbs.
