I love the hall of president's. My kids love it too. Not a fan of the current prez and many of the previous ones, but I do love the country and it's people, It's our history and I embrace it. You don't have to agree with history to appreciate it and learn from it.

I just got back from WDW and not sure if I'll ever go back. WDW has a lot of problems, but HOP isn't one of them. If they replace HOP with the Muppets then there is no question..... I'm done and my wallet will thank me.

I dony think they KNOW if they are or not yet. The added so much theming to the area, then they got rid of theming. Then they added some muppets to liberty square then got rid of them. Then added theming to regal eagle and a light show on Spaceship Earth.

I think Disney just needs to figure it out. Muppets are profitable. That is obvious. Their fandom is super loyal. But Disney is just confused. Muppets isnt even owned by the movie company anymore. Theyre owned by the theme park division last i checked. So lets get them in the parks some more.

Fans of HOP regardless of the current president, is a very, very small fraction of guests.

I am glad there are still a few of us around 😀👍

So? How is this better than both MuppetVision and HoP? Why are they wasting money on this as opposed to expanding the parks and having more stuff for guests?

They can bring back the Muppet show in the courtyard and you can get your added Muppet presence and others can continue to enjoy HoP. Wouldn't that be a better choice?

But they're already in the parks and the store is right there. Why move them somewhere else (somewhere where they will have a show not made by their original creator, ticking off the fan base right off the bat) and try selling merchandise when they could do it right there in Hollywood Studios now?

If they want to gauge interest it's better to do it before they spend a ton of money relocating and potentially alienating the loyal fans by making an inferior product.

Presence is nothing new. More security presence had been noticeable by us on two occasions. Immediately after 9/11/01 it was at Morocco pavilion and during Millennium Village celebration village in 1999,2000 at Epcot at the Israeli area where a teenage group from Israel performed dance and sang Israeli patriotic songs. Security looking to keep the peace.

Other than connecting through Charlotte sometimes I don't spend much time in the southeast outside of FL. When I'm out of state I'm either in Vegas, the midwest or Big Sky Country. If there is that much tension in schools I agree it's crazy. Political disagreements should be resolved with debate and elections. I have friends who believe opposite of me on many political issues. We get along fine by not making politics a topic of discussion. There's no reason we can't be civilized and enjoy things that we have in common together just because we disagree on what government policies should be in place.

Wow if we could only have a peaceful Thanksgiving dinner where a number of attendees are only seen 1x a year . The opinions come out hot and heavy.

Quite honestly, I've only used the HOP as a place to get out of the heat or when it rains...It's a nice place to take a nap with the air conditioning. Sorry...

I agree that the best case scenario is Monsters Inc replaces Launch Bay and backstage buildings and we keep MuppetVision. But that may not happen for any number of reasons.

We can sit here and armchair imagineer all day about expanding the parks, but in reality Disney knows what they think will work best operationally. Maybe it’s a lack of CMs, or a lack of budget, or a desire to save expansion pads for later, but sometimes replacements have to happen.
