Halft Time show, Justin Janet

Good parents do. :sohappy:

My daughter is 6 also and I have a hard time finding clothing for her. I will not put her in jeans that show her undies, a thong, or shirts that show her tummy. It's ashame that they make "adult" clothing for teens and even worse that it comes in sizes for little kids. Parisians is one place that I have had to stop shopping at for this reason. Can't find a thing there anymore.

*sigh* Depressing, ain't it? It's all caused by raunchy media, which is caused by want of MONEY.

This pop culture has a good target audience: teenagers (in general). Unfortunately, it starts to creep in well before it should (if even at all . . . )

Maybe Disney can start out by giving Kim Possible a few pieces of clothing. . . :lookaroun

 True! :D

With all due respect, I think there are many worse things to see explicitly on tv than Janet´s . The nip was covered and I´ve seen worse outfits with less fabric on them which show with only the nip covered just as hers. It was for a very short time too and the camera zoomed out very fast. Other than "oops" and "lol" about it, I didn´t think much of it. Although I am sure Janet and Justin are loving the publicity about it.

Of course, I don´t know the lyrics of the song and the context oon which the action was done, which could make a difference. :animwink:
Relax, it wasn´t even a good one, but it was white, did you notice? :lookaroun

I have had time to cool down and while I still think that that whole stunt was planned! I don`t think that Viacom or CBS should loose their licences, I do how ever think they should be extremely fined. I don`t want anyone ,other then maybe some big shots, loose their jobs over this.

Actually, it wasn't. It had body jewelry going through it and around it. Nothing was covering it.

did anyone else catch the monday night's edition of the daily show?

as john stewart said, the real issue should be the crappy music at halftime.

he did half of the show on the super bowl, if anyone could find a link to the show, that would be way cool. I accidently deleated it off my TiVo. :brick:

Interesting that you mention TIVO.

Today it was revealed that TIVO playbacks just after the ' incident' rose by 180%!!!

So all this 'morally outraged' Americans must have been rewinding to review the item to ensure they were fully 'outraged' before they complained.

Frankly I think too many people are making too much of this, I just wish half as many people would comment of the invasion of a country on false pretences by the USA & UK............

<waits for flack to begin>

well, you did just violate forum rules. Was that comment really necessary?

You have your moral high ground, others have theirs.

I'm glad you said it before me, Scotty, cuz I wouldn't have been as nice. The political barbs being thrown by some need to stop cuz it can turn nasty very quickly.

Oh great, Just because you are the home of country music does not quantify Nashville itself as a Country. But I do salute the Commodores (the team and the group) on their success. I was worried that the Cats may lose two in a row for a while last night until they rebounded and recorded a big road win in Florida. Is wooping spelled with an "H" or would that be whooping as in hollering kinda like yell which comes from the mouth, that you can zip any time now:hurl:
