I just went and looked at it -- the title of the "article" is definitely the worst part, but it's also a pretty terrible list that ignores the vast majority of Disney's output. Their list would result in only like 15 films being represented, if that.

I wouldn't be surprised at all to see Wall-E. I'd be absolutely shocked to see Tod and Copper, though.
Well, excepting the Fab Gang (and Pooh), the pattern seems to be supporting characters from popular movies.
So, let's take Pinocchio, e.g., I'm guessing that rather getting the star himself, we'll get Jiminy.

Yep, that's what I've been saying. It looks like they're trying to focus on using secondary characters with a few exceptions (I think using Winnie the Pooh was a no-brainer).
It's also why I think we'll see Gus/Jaq or the Fairy Godmother for Cinderella, if it's represented. Probably the Genie from Aladdin.
