And yet, they're not only limiting it to 50 IPs, but by doubling up on a bunch of them, they'll only have representation for about 35 IPs (the Earidescent Eight eat of up a good chunk of the list).

There's going to be a lot of disappointment that fan-favorite IPs will be left off the list, added to the disappointment that main characters aren't represented.

If the other site's list was correct, it's going to be more like 20-25 IPs due to additional doubling up (and occasional tripling up). They've only represented 16 (I think) up to this point.

ETA: And some of the representation is for Star Wars and Marvel -- not that that should surprise anyone, but I don't think anyone thinks of those as classic Disney IP, especially since they're live action and everything else comes from animation.

Some of these are very big. Is it possible they're life size?! It would track with them mentioning that Jaq and Gus are smaller, and why there are so few "humans". A sitting Joe Gardner is easier to pull off than a full size standing Moana one, for instance.



Also, do we know whose arm this is?

Minnie was announced as an example and was shown in concept art, but wasn't "revealed", in that they didn't show us the render in an announcement and added as a slot on the advent calendar. The last statue that we know of for sure that hasn't been "revealed" yet is Pluto.

All of the duos are counted as separate characters towards "the 50" (even if they may appear in the same sculpture). See image below in which there are 50 spaces, and the duos take up two spaces.

I can't post the Instagram (since I don't have one), but Nemo and Dory have been announced for Animal Kingdom. I'd put them at the Theatre in the Wild. Glad AK is getting some more love.

This also deconfirms The Other Site's full list. This bodes poorly for Bruni, Miguel, and Frozone, in my opinion.

It's almost insulting that they're counting that tiny Bruni as one of the 50 characters.

The other site's list is now mostly back on track, too -- I really wasn't expecting Simba or Bruni. Maybe they only got a couple wrong.

Either way, it's not great that Bruni is taking up a spot, or that Simba is now the third character from Lion King when so many other movies aren't going to have anyone.

Bruni was a seriously odd choice, and definitely takes a spot that could have been used for way more popular characters.

No. And I'm sure that's a conscious decision on their part.

Makes it a bit odd if Joe is the only human. ETA: I forgot Edna and Mad Hatter are also humans, but they're not main characters.
