Add more to the Magic Kingdom pile. This one is a lock for Storybook Circus.
At this rate we're probably only getting one statue total at Animal Kingdom, which kind of bites.

At least it's from a different movie and not a third or fourth character from one.
Spray paint it gold and there go three more spaces as well as brings in some park IP

Sarcasm? Because these three are famously not Park IP.
DAK's limited because it doesn't feature as many IPs. Jungle Book? Tarzan? Zootopia?
etc are unlikely because they don't have a tie-in attraction. The only possible candidates now are those from UP and A Bug's Life.

Dante's in Epcot despite there being no Coco presence so the sky's the limit on Animal characters they could use. Bambi, Bianca and Bernard, Meeko, Arlo from the Good Dinosaur, Jud... no not that (hopefully).DAK's limited because it doesn't feature as many IPs. Jungle Book? Tarzan? Zootopia?

UPDATE:
All of the duos are counted as separate characters towards "the 50" (even if they may appear in the same sculpture). See image below in which there are 50 spaces, and the duos take up two spaces.

Something that has deeply bothered me is that while there are 50 spots on the Advent Calendar, one is taken up by the "50" logo, which I don't see them changing. There's actually only 49 spaces that can house characters, and I was assuming Chip n' Dale would be the pair to hold the honor of "doubling up". Now, that's not the case. So while we have 22 characters left, we actually only have 21 cells in that design to fill (24 open cells minus three "knowns").
So I'm guessing Tinkerbell is a lock, and she'll be flying above the castle on her own. She'll also likely be the last character announced to cap off the design. I'm also going to be bold here and say A) she'll be in MK and B) She'll be in the hub with the Iridescent Eight.
Sidenote: we know, for a fact, that there are spots being cleared for these in the parks. Does nobody have a list of all the prepped spots?

I'm starting to think that the reason why so many of these statues feature two characters is because Disney is too cheap and/or lazy to actually make fifty different statues.
Dang, they're really going all in with The Lion King. I guess DAK really does need IP. Kevin is an interesting choice. Honestly the character design was only successful because of the feather coloration. It'll be interesting to see what they do with the statue. Assuming she's one of the 50.
And what's with the Runaway Railway bird? Surely that's not going to be a statue?

Yeah I wouldn't take much stock in that soap dispenser. I'd be gobsmacked if Chuuby was a statue. I think they just put "a whole lot of flying/bird characters" on it.

They've been really trying to hype that ride up as a new classic. I wouldn't put it past them to make a Chubby statue.

Right, some of the characters are going to look a little strange as gold statues. Kevin is at least more recognizable than golden Dante who looks a lot like Tramp with a huge tongue. If going with Dante they should have at least gone with spirit guide version with wings and patterns.
