When there is land, there is no need. There aren't many above one story around me either, but we're not talking about some big Walmart distribution center here either. :):)

There are multi story museums, warehouses, in big cities. Huge places. Don't get too caught in the word 'warehouse'

But if we don't get latch onto semantics, how can we possibly justify our indignant, self-righteous outrage over a theme park ride?!?

Like SWE, it's much cheaper than actually taking the long term initiative to give these properties a real home in a third gate.

I know, but the comment I was replying to talked about just fixing up the ToT and how that was seemingly the more expensive option. There is obviously way more coming to DCA.

Unlike most here... I am not championing a third gate... yet. There is too much they need to address between Disneyland and especially DCA before spending all their time and energy on a third park. That's WDW's problem. Too many half-baked parks.

I more caught up in the fact that they are destroying ToT at DCA.
But, I admittedly have not been to DLR or DCA. So I'm not sentimental about. Just feel bad for the folks there that are.

He understands the game. Staying in it means he has a platform to minimize these types of "improvements" to his park.

He hasn't minimized squat. Not that I've seen.

Is it too much of a stretch to consider that the guy likes it?

If it weren't taking over ToT, would you all be so doubtful of his sincerity??

Lets be thankful that TDO fought this from happening at our Tower, I know theres the issue of Epcot still, but at least the beautiful interiors and surroundings of tower of terror at DHS appear safe from this mess.

TDO has more room to operate. Epcot or wherever, they have more room of new building, and more, shall we say, marginal attractions that could be disappeared and replaced with something like this.
