It makes zero sense to overlay an attraction with currently the only franchise Marvel can use in the east coast for the west. Only reason they did this was because it is a cheaper and easier way to draw people into that park. Like I'be said before it will be a great ride, but it is still disappointing how they got rid of such a fantastic attraction and then they just overlay it.
This is true...Plus this has happend before.....

I know, my questions were more rhetorical.

The problem is that you (meaning Disney) can't use "synergy" and "Walt always wanted the parks to be updated" to justify every stupid move

"Stupid" is not some incontrovertible fact. A whole bunch of you don't seem to understand this. You get angry that others don't perceive something in the way you do - that's your problem not the others'.

Honestly I am not shocked at the backlash, I do however have more thoughts about GoTG for Epcot than DCA. I will most likely address that and my ideas for Epcot in another thread.

Funny then how most of the replies on twitter, the DisneyParks FB page and Youtube are negative so far...apparently my opinion isn't in the minority.

Yes, I do believe stupid can be attributed to this idea, that is my OPINION, and seemingly a popular one.

Never said you were alone, no evidence you are in the majority either. Its knowable that a majority of people do NOT post their opinions online.

Glad to see you acknowledge that 'stupid' is within your mind, but I suspect you think all that disagree with you are stupid. And you know what? That's just stupid.

Why don't you try focusing on the topic at hand instead of bashing me?

I've written a great deal around this forum tonight about the topic.
You called this new decision stupid as if that were a universally accepted fact, and thus anyone that disagrees with you must be stupid, I've disputed that premise, and you maintain your position.

Now you've decided such a disagreement is "bashing".

Sure man, sure.

Did anyone look closely at the concept art?

I know that it's just a concept piece but look at the area where the store would be. Instead of the store there is an arch and you can see the background sky. Also the background of the art shows other building silhouettes.

Could it be that eventually the store might be relocated and instead of exiting directly into the store guests will exit into a courtyard that leads into an expanded Marvel universe behind the tower?

Thia would mean that along with the entrance from Carsland that if Marvel grows south into the remaining timon then there would be at least two entrances. A third entrance could also be built in the southern edge.

All they have to do is removed the unused large fans that were placed for the old tire ride. Then the path would run behind the luigis queue wall and come up between the fire station and luigis.

I don't read too much into concept art. Sometimes artists throw in background, various little details just to enrich an image. A drawing of a building all by itself doesn't excite much.
