They are probably afraid that if you can get it streaming you won't attend the convention, which I highly doubt would happen. They really should take a cue from Star Wars Celebration and live stream at least some of the panels.

Probably... It is stupid though. Its like saying why even go to Disney parks when you have Youtube?

Ugh. This all really makes me sick. Nobody asked for this. What a waste of money and theme park fans' appreciation. Why we have to lose an incredible attraction to the latest hopefully-profitable IP is nauseating. This company with more cash than it knows what to do with, can't just create a new attraction?! They HAVE to bastardize one of the thematically greatest attractions created since Walt left?! "Let's make a new theme that somehow goes with an elevator up and down ride! And somehow incorporate said theming 2000 miles away into another attraction that doesn't go up and down at all!!" If they're looking to eliminate royalties to CBS, couldn't that be re-negotiated?
I know I'm not the only one totally ed off by this. What's next, Indy gets a Moana re-theme? To me, there's no excuse for this at all. And I know they will call this "expansion", but really this is no better than Tarzan's Treehouse. Disney has pretty much figured out that they don't need to build new rides, just change old ones and call it a "new" experience and the crowds will come. Just look at Frozen in Norway.

At D23, they make you put your phone in a sealed envelope they provide and then have security roaming with night vision goggles to make sure no one's recording (seriously!). No idea if it's similar at Comiccon
Honestly, I can't tell whether you are serious or just joking :)
