Like Disney has never put up a vinyl banner.
It's a DCA tradition to look tacky, cheap and edgy so Summer Of Universal Heroes fits that.

Was at the park last night and the tower looks 100x better at night, not sure that's saying much though. Even though I'm not crazy about the orange / green color scheme that kind of reminds me of bad Batman movies from the mid / late 90s, its effective in hiding the even less pleasant color scheme of the tower and all those damn pipes.

They'd have to be male hookers to be truly authentic to Hollywood. Think of how many more execs and Imagineers would hang around DCA if those kinda "Citizens of Hollywood" started showin' up each day!

It's a typical block of two-color font you would find on the front of a comic book. And they're advertising a comic book IP. Seems thematic to me.

Yeah, I don't really like decorative signage over existing structures or Marvel funny books, but it very obviously evokes the classic Marvel logo. So while some idiot decided that there should be a billboard over the MGM Studios entrance, whoever was in charge of the billboard did an okay job.

There's nothing wrong with the logo itself, it's its placement.

Wow so much anger over a simple sign! FWIW, it's not all off-center like the photo upstream kinda looks... Could be way more obnoxious and tacky. As someone else mentioned, it's totally in-line with the Marvel logo.
Early reviews all are saying the ride is great btw...But as you know, first reactions (especially pre-opening) have a way of being overly excited and maybe more positive than they should be.
