In case you didn't know, for a while now, there's been a rumor about a Guardians coaster replacing the energy ride in Epcot.

And this is one of the scenes in the first Mission: Breakout tie-in comic.

I do think it's kind of funny.

The idea of a Marvel comic book universe taking over a Future World attraction makes my head spin.

Was there any doubt. If you've seen it you know why. It shows that Marvel is and continues the be, outside of Pixar, one of the smartest acquisitions Disney has ever made. Now if they can just do something about bringing back all the other Marvel characters owned by other studios and get rid of that Universal contract, they'll be golden.

It's funny how the other movie companies that have Marvel characters never make as good movies as Marvel Studios/Disney makes. There has been a lot of crappy Marvel movies made outside of the MCU. I'm looking at your Fantastic Four and Spiderman!

Its funny you mention that, there have been rumors that Marvel will get back the rights to Fantastic Four and family from Fox. Or at least have the ability to use them in the MCU. I won't give away anything from GotG 2 but there is a scene which shows this.

Deadpool?

X-Men: Days of Future Past?

Logan?

With the exception of Deadpool, I can say that most of movies from other studios have not been as good as the ones directly under the Marvel umbrella. However as Marvel has gotten more directly involved they have gotten better. We'll see how Spider-Man does this summer, but from the previews it looks a whole lot better than the previous Sony ones. If that works out as expected you'll see the other studios partner with Marvel just like Sony. And that in turn will be better for the MCU as they can then intertwine all the other characters into the larger universe that Kevin Feige is weaving.
