Really have to disagree with you on Spiderman 2.

Wondering if the random sequences are a bit less than completely random. There are three separate shafts and six sequences. For maximum diversity, I can imagine each shaft offering two different sequences instead of all six. This would give them greater freedom in how they refitted the effects corridors.

Just a thought.

I admit I haven't been following this much. Just read tge Wikipedia page saying this thing will be opening about 18days from now... Is that accurate? Soft open POV videos yet?

No soft opens have occurred and it's unlikely any will as they want people to pay $150 to attend the premier party.

Saw Guardians 2 over the weekend. Fun movie, but lacked the punch of the first one I thought. Felt much smaller in scope story-wise while simultaneously throwing more at the screen if that makes any sense. I wish they would have given some of the story time to expand/breathe over multiple movies too. Also, not sure why, but a lot of the jokes totally fell flat in the theater I was at even though I laughed at a lot of it! Maybe it was a lame crowd, who knows.

Still some really fun sequences throughout and a great summer popcorn flick. First one surpassed the summer popcorn flick category though IMO and cemented itself as a re-watchable classic while I don't think this one did. In the end, I'd give it 3.5 out of 5 stars!

Spiderman 2 was the best one!
The Blade Films were decent for their time and helped bring back comic book movies after Joel Schumacher killed them. Punisher War Zone was fun too. Now, let's list all of the other good comic book films in the 40 year time span you decided upon. The ratio good to bad tilts even more if you look at modern Superhero films and aren't reaching to include the unreleased Fantastic 4 and Howard the Duck movies.

Don't make me mention Spawn but that isn't Marvel so it doesn't count.
