I believe that is a maintenance bay.

It looks fairly similar in shape to Energy’s old maintenance bay. I’m starting to wonder if they only tore down the old one to allow easy access for construction vehicles and equipment, and now they’re just rebuilding it.

That and the maintenance bay would have had to have been majorly rebuilt anyways due to this being a completely different ride type and structure.

Most of the maintenance area will be roughly where diorama two / theatre two used to be. I’d guess this was for RV egress.

There again, remember the building also had its substation removed.

The avengers campus map describes this as a “Xandrian Outpost”...that’s a sweet poster and pavilion deisgn.

From the concept art above and the new concept art overall, it appears that new solar panels will be installed?! I honestly thought they would be ditching them, so I'm glad to at least see that element returned.

The whole perimeter of GotG needs a thick berm of trees when complete. The current tree line is just too bare on the left side of the EPCOT entrance. The "I cant see it blue box" is bad enough. I at least hope there is a plan to obscure the back area more at ground level view.

They would need to plant some ridiculously tall trees to have any effect on obscuring the building. I think the exterior of the show building and the land around it is pretty much complete at this point.

If I had to speculate, I would guess that the “rewind” aspect and possible time travel elements could point to the ride still involving dinosaurs in some shape or form...

If they go back to the Big Bang, then it could be a lesson in energy, like the Big Bang segment in Ellen's.

So the ride starts off edutainment, with the cars turning 360deg, and then something happens and you get into the reverse launch section? Followed by the coaster in the gravity building?
