So, they're offering 10% off prices they just raised 10%?

I'm guessing previews will be limited to those with real skin in the game... like you say, DVC, CM's, Golden Oaks and Club 33 1/3...
My question is WHEN people think previews will be offered. We know CM are being hired/transferred.

I get you don't think AP holders will be included.

You've just proved again that your issue is people forming negative opinions before experiencing it, not people forming any opinion before experiencing it. You're complaining that people who think it will be "the best attraction ever" aren't heard from enough - so they're allowed to have their opinion, but anyone who thinks negatively of it we hear from too much? Hmm.

Keep in mind that this is the nature of empirical evidence - there are parts of this attraction that people have experienced. I've been to EPCOT and experienced the impact of the giant unthemed Gravity Building on the park's skyline, which I feel is negative rather than positive. I've experienced the Guardians of the Galaxy movies and don't particularly care for those characters or feel they are a good fit for EPCOT. I've ridden Disney's other "roller coasters in the dark" and do not feel that sort of attraction as Disney has historically built them is what EPCOT needs. I've heard how much this attraction costs and know that it's the single most expensive ride ever built at Walt Disney World, which sours me a little futher because that's a lot of money to spend on one ride that, to me, is already having a negative impact based on the things I just listed. We haven't seen many of the elements that are meant to outweigh these negative impacts, and maybe the scale will be balanced out when we do. Maybe all of my early opinions will be reversed on my first ride and I'll want my ashes scattered in this attraction when I'm gone. But until then I can't just magically decide that this will probably be the best ride ever when I've yet to see anything that would convince me I should feel that way, and seen several things that inspire me to feel the opposite.

This does not mean I've already fully decided that Cosmic Rewind will be awful and that there's no hope of saving it - and any rational person knows that. Obviously. It's so silly that this even needs to be said. Are we not adults?

If the negative opinions of others are weighing down your time of these forums, the ignore button is free to use and often very helpful in curating your experience. But people are allowed to have and share negative opinions of how it's going so far, and often those opinions have validity.
I posted

It's really more about forming an opinion before experiencing it. You get far less people insisting it's going to be the best attraction ever without experiencing it than you do those insisting it's going to be terrible. And those that do rarely make posts repeatedly, unlike a minority of those who are overly negative.

And I have never said they can't have an opinion of an attraction until it's 100% done, just that their opinion isn't necessarily correct at that point be it negative or positive.

Where do I complain that "people who think it will be the best attraction ever aren't heard from enough"? Where? I just comment that there's more people making negative pre judgments than positive, that's true but nowhere am I saying I want to hear more positive things from those who've made positive pre judgments.

I've also used the word 'minority' when describing those who are 'overly negative'. That's because many have a reason to perhaps not like certain things about upcoming attractions. So I'm actively pointing out that I'm talking about "a minority of those who are overly negative" and not criticising all people who are negative. There's a number of people who in my opinion just post negative stuff all the time, I'm aware that I could ignore them just like anyone can ignore me, but I do appreciate you pointing that out. I also know they're allowed to have a negative opinion and actually said that very thing a few posts back of mine, again thanks for reminding me though.

I'm not sure why you think that I believe you should say "But until then I can't just magically decide that this will probably be the best ride ever when I've yet to see anything that would convince me I should feel that way, and seen several things that inspire me to feel the opposite." Have I ever posted anything saying that I expect that, I don't believe I have? And if you said that I'd probably engage and ask you why, in the hope that you had inside info to make that call as otherwise how would you know?

To clarify

People can have whatever opinions that they want
People can say negative things or positive things
I know I can ignore folk and that they can ignore me
Not everyone saying negative stuff has an agenda or is always negative
Not everyone saying positive stuff has an agenda or is always positive
I've never said you have to say you think something is the best ride ever
I've never even thought as you as a negative poster

They weigh far less than this size for sze.
Airplanes are meant to fly, they're made as light as possible.
This is a prop of a craft that doesn't fly, and would be unflyable even if it was light and had power.
Airplanes still end up weighing a few thousand pounds, especially an old fighter made of steel. This is a showset prop. It’s almost certainly something like fiberglass on a steel frame. This thing isn’t pushing the limits of engineering. A more slender pedestal was absolutely possible.

I think shape is also a factor in why airplane pedestals can look more streamlined and integrated. Due to the fins being so large when in that position, there really isn't anything else you can do. They couldn't use the fin as the anchor point either because the weight distribution of the cabin area. They could have had the fins all pointing back, but honestly I think that would lose the wow factor of the ship.

It also can't be compared to the floating rocks in Pandora because those are anchored at multiple points to the ground. Makes it substantially easier to hide and mask.

Cantilevers can be built. Foundations can be deeper.
