I should also be noted that Raging Spirits is one of only two coasters at Tokyo DisneySea and the only one not geared towards very young children. The lack of comparable rides in the park makes it stand out.

I don't know why DisneySea doesn't have more roller coasters. They could add 3 right now and it really wouldn't be overkill.

Although Journey to the Center of the Earth isn't a rollercoaster, it does have a 20-30 second coaster like element to it, which is about the same length as the TRON coaster overall (j/k)

Let’s just wait and see what it looks like when it’s complete. I will be shocked and disappointed if that structure is that prominent. It looks completely unfinished and very “un-Disney.”

My hunch is that the structure will be an additional fin and won’t be seen like it is here…as a “damn stand” that the concept art just omitted. So yes, I completely understand that it’s concept art and things will obviously not be exactly as shown but the focal point of the art is not going to be that much different where they omit a structure of exposed tube steel.
When I was a kid, several of my models had display stands like that. Maybe that's the vibe they're going for. I agree with you; not my vibe but a vibe...

You call that a "complete review"? I call that exactly what I called it before - discussion of News and Rumors.

No one's publishing their final review of the unfinished Cosmic Rewind in this week's issue of the Times. If you want to pretend that engaging in this sort of discussion is tantamount to developing unfixable stances on an incomplete attraction then I guess you can you can do that all you want, but the rest of us will be living in the real world where we can engage with nuance. We know, as we've seen time and time again - from even the very examples you cite - that people are often willing to change their opinions when they actually ride the thing. I don't see why you're bothered so much by minds you only imagine are fully made up.

Similar to what I said before to another poster, your issue seems less to be with people having an opinion during the process and more with people having negative opinions. Which is a meaningful distinction.
You are probably right that the negatives bother me more than the positives, they are usually louder you have to admit, and seem to repeat their view ad nauseum. I generally don’t like grumpy people that hate everything and people that think everything used to be better. This doesn’t come from me being a young pup either, I’ll be 50 this year. Don’t mistake this with me thinking the board should only be sunshine and rainbows. Not the case, but for those that hate absolutely everything they are adding no value to the discussion.

But I will also say the person that comes on here saying this is going to be the best ride in Orlando for sure, that is just as flawed as the opposite. And they seem to usually be a newbie and get ran off petty quickly.

But generally speaking, yes I prefer a nice puffy cloud over a dark cloud to rain on my parade.

Yes
Ok so in a break from all the back and forth, they finished most of the ribs on the west side of the building, even applying those little beige designs near the light bars underneath. It was too dark to take a picture last night but only the rear two had a crane by them, presumably to do them sometime overnight.

When you look amount of bolts used to attach the ship body to the stand, it would seem that it is a permanent part of the display...not that they couldn't bolt other things to dress it, I feel like that stand is there to stay...
I know people were hoping it would be removed once the rest of the pieces were in place...

My thoughts exactly. They wouldn't have gone to the trouble of using so many bolts if it were temporary.

AP previews would run counter to WDW's current policy of discouraging AP purchases.
Disney recently released AP hotel discounts and still offers shopping and dining AP discounts.

I have no idea what that means relative to AP previews.

I'll rephrase. Sounds like CM are being recruited. What does that suggest regarding any previews including CM and DVC?

So, they're offering 10% off prices they just raised 10%?

I'm guessing previews will be limited to those with real skin in the game... like you say, DVC, CM's, Golden Oaks and Club 33 1/3...

Not removing...concealing. This can't be the final "view" we see. (Especially now with the wiring in plain sight).

Were it temporary, I would expect it to be vertical and look temporary. I don’t love it and would prefer they had used lighter materials so it could have been supported more easily but I guess it didn’t work out according to their plans.

Hopefully it looks cool when it’s done though.
