Looking less and less likely that the panels are coming back.
Roof membrane and flashing is at least 20 years old, assuming it was replaced when they rehabbed the panels in the 90's. If it wasn't then it's close to 40 years old and definitely needs to be replaced But in order to totally redo the roof everything would have to come off anyways.

Not that it means anything but all the concept art clearly shows panels, so I wouldn't discount them coming back.

Racking systems have changed a bit, new panels needs, new racking, new wiring..
Now, that's IF they are "real"... perhaps what goes up is just for "SHOW"

I'll bet that there will be 'panels', as shown in the concept art.....they just won't be producing any energy! :(

And with all due respect... Frozenstrum has no place in World Showcase, Mary Poppins and Ratatouille, yes, but fictional kingdom...

I'm not a monster for goodness sake...
Only having seen it in videos, I think it's a pretty solid attraction and a great addition to Fantasyland. I'm looking forward to riding it when I visit the MK in November.

;)
You'll enjoy it much more than maelstrom in my opinion. Much better cognitive storyline than the past iteration. People say it doesn't fit, but I always wonder, if Frozen would've shown a no named map at the beginning of the movie of Norway/ Sweden/ Finland, and zoomed in from there, would there still be a problem with the IP going into WS? Maybe frozen 2 will address it, lol. But then they'll just say disney is being lazy and trying to patch old mistakes, so they won't accept that either.

All the other movies have magic and fantastical themes (Poppins, Rat) , but they're fine additions since they happened in a *real* city... psh.

I’ve always wondered whether people objected to Aladdin and Jasmine being introduced to the Morocco pavilion back in the ’90s. True, Frozen Ever After is a ride rather than a character meet-and-greet, but I can’t recall ever having heard any objections to the fictional Agrabah’s presence at World Showcase.

I want to like it, hopefully I will be visiting the resort soo so I can experience it. I remember riding Malestrom once (I'm sure I rode it others just don't remember) and just recall feeling ok about it. I will say the new effects look great on video but I was never too big on the Frozen franchise. I thought the biggest issue was that movie completely overshadowed Big Hero 6, and Tangled was a much better experience.

It has a story? I thought it was just a random stitching together of Frozen characters forcefully shoved in the small space they had. At least that’s what I got out of it on the two and only times I rode/will ride it

I agree that the storyline isn’t exactly central to one’s experience of Frozen Ever After, but it’s difficult to deny that Maelstrom was far more narratively disconnected. (Not that I’m criticising either ride!)

The ride is very cute for what it is, and better than Maelstrom was...It would have been nice if the actual Frozen film had onle tiny line about it being in Norway...Then I would not have a problem with the fairytale characters in that pavilion...
But as a wehole, the ride is better...but a better fit for Fantasyland...
