Thanks for keeping TRACK of things.
I heard 2020 a while back from an “insider”, but literally nobody listened to me, let alone say if they heard anything similar. So are is there any chance this opens in 2020? they seem to be moving pretty quickly for them

Just incase anyone asks, and before other sites jump on it, this is currently projected to open spring 2021.
Okay so it’s absolutely not opening in 2020?

Nothing else Marvel-related has been announced, and the released concept art for the restaurant doesn't depict any extreme sci fi or fantasy concepts. As much as I am excited for this attraction to open, I kind of hope they take their time with it and make sure it's done right. It's always a shame when they rush to get something open and have to refurb it 6 months later because someone didn't measure a beam properly or something.
And to follow up with a question to anyone that might know or perhaps even speculate, does GotG appear to be the only Marvel related thing marked for EPCOT? I want to make sure this stays on topic so curious if there is anything GotG adjacent that might fit as well? Does any Marvel Cosmic IP possibly get sprinkled into the Space Restaurant, or does that stay vanilla Space themed?
I'm expecting some glimpses of various ships out of GotG while dining in the Space Restaurant. Other views I'd like to see include a battle between Rebel ships and a Star Destroyer from Star Wars, a brief fly-by of the ship from Flight of the Navigator, an X-2 from Mission:Space whizzing by en route to Mars, and, in a nod to classic Disney space rides, one of the original Disneyland rocket ships flying by.As much as I am excited for this attraction to open, I kind of hope they take their time with it and make sure it's done right. Some none marvel IP has been considered for the restaurant as a token gesture. As much as I am excited for this attraction to open, I kind of hope they take their time with it and make sure it's done right. Here's hoping...Some none marvel IP has been considered for the restaurant as a token gesture.
I'd prefer a frozen JarJar float by, after having been "spaced."Here's hoping...
It's bad enough they're bringing Marvel to Epcot...let's leave SW out...PLEASE?!Here's hoping...
I think there's an opportunity to do something fun that is also subtle, no?It's bad enough they're bringing Marvel to Epcot...let's leave SW out...PLEASE?!
I don't think Disney knows how to do franchise subtlety. If they were determined to add SW to Epcot, I wouldn't put it past them trying to re-conceive Spaceship Earth as the death star.I think there's an opportunity to do something fun that is also subtle, no?
That could be a great little IP sneak that’s not too intrusive"Token gesture" ... hmm. I'd say WALL-E. They don't seem to want to do anything with him.
