So how many little projects are we going to lose to fund this thing? I had hoped the money for the Coco overlay would go towards the UK attraction but I feel like they're cutting things to put the money towards this ... thing. I'm just guessing, of course. Wondering just how much this thing is going to end up costing them in the long run.

This is not a refurb, this in an entirely new ride that happens to use an existing building for it's queue. With that said, the cost may still be way out of line.
I put this out before hand, but if they were to line a 200 foot section of wall in the new building with iPhone Xs it would only cost $242.7 million. The reported cost is significantly more than that.

Announced attractions:
1. Star Wars Land
2. Toy Story Land
3. Mickey and Minnie Runaway
4. Rat ride
5. GotG coaster
6. Tron ride
7. New theatre at MK

I’m not sure would get cut??

I honestly have no idea. From what the project entails vs what it’s costing I think there’s a stealth bomber or six hidden in the costs.

Not saying this is happening, but could it be since this is a capital project that some mundane tasks are being logged to this project? Like someone ordering light bulbs since it includes lights being used for the new project, all of that is logged to the new project?

Without going into detail it makes sense to some of the higher ups. There’s quite a bit of turmoil at the moment. Hopefully things will smooth over again and not too much will be lost.
What doesn't make sense to me is how parks and resorts is the only segment with real growth literally every single quarter and they're cutting? That makes no sense at all. they should be expanding to meet demand like their lives depend on it.

And I guessing there are several projects we have no clue about that will/could get downsized or cut. Even the resort projects (Star Wars/Epcot Resort)
