She's always complaining how she has to make yarn by hand, and spinning wheels are like 500 bucks. So we're going to split the price a Sleeping Beauty-style spinning wheel for her. I'm so excited to get it for her. Mostly because I want to use it too :lol:
Yep, they make them still! For people who want to make their own yarn to make rugs or sweaters or something, I don't know. We have to do something with our sheep's wool. You can also buy looms and stuff, but that may be a little overkill, I think.

I almost have all my Christmas shopping done. But I am just about out of money.:zipit: I know what I need to get just have to wait for some money to come in now.

We don't really have enough sheep to sell it and make a profit or anything. So she likes to play around with it and learn how to be craftsy.
I think we were that way somewhat with our honey bees. We had about 12 hives and could sale some but it really wasn't worth the hassle. So we saved to up for us and gave it away at Christmas. Now we dont' have them anymore.

I wanted everything to be Mickey & Minnie this year but about 35% of it will be. Is everyone else getting excited about Christmas? :lol: Morning, Dawn. That's great!!! I'm sort of mixed this year about Christmas. I've felt myself in the spirit already, it's my favorite time of year. But this is the 1st year I won't be home for Christmas so it's a little bittersweet.
Since we leave for our honeymoon on the 30th it just didn't make sense. I've actually had a tree set-up tradition since college. Every year I set it up on December 5th...Walt Disney's birthday.

Agreed. The best part is the togetherness. I wish I could my tree up this weekend! I won't be able to until the first or second week in December.
