Poor George - he's so much fun!
That's the best part! And he doesn't even know it.

We won't be doing the tree for a couple of weeks at least, but I did get the decorations out of the closet yesterday.I already did that. Mike put up the tree while I was gone this afternoon.

It will happen Jenn.I'm going to go to Walmart tomorrow (very early) and look for some durable simple ornaments....we still need to keep our nicer ornaments packed away. I keep hoping every year Joel gets older he will understand how to be more careful with things like that...and every year I get disappointed.

Have you thought of giving him his own tree too?
I get the kids each an ornament every year too. I don't do Hallmark, just something that commemorates something for that year. I think they each have more ornaments than we have now!He has a little fiber optic tree in his bedroom. Mike and I started the tradition of buying each child an ornament every Christmas and then when they are grown up they will have a nice start on decorating their own trees - we usually get Hallmark ornaments. Joel has managed to break at least one of them, so that is why we don't unpack them. I feel bad for Abby - she has a tree in her room also, but he goes in there all the time, so she can't even put hers up. She seems to understand though.
