I can relate to that. :lol:

I don't know if we'll get our outdoor decorations up this week - the weather is supposed to be pretty wet - but we'll have the tree done by the time my in-laws get here Saturday.

Sounds like a plan!

I'm downsizing the decorating this year. With just the 2 of us here, it really makes no sense to go nutso with stuff.

Yeppers. We decorated the tree. :xmas:

It's smaller than what we usually get, but it ended up being fine because a bunch of our ornaments are boxed up, waiting to be shipped to WDW.

Is your tree up yet?

Yepper.
It went up Friday.
My house has the "Christmas cozies" right now.
Especially since it's raining and miserable outside.

Ours, too. And it is raining and miserable here also.

This is going to sound corny, but I don't care. :lol: Whenever I am stressed or aggravated, looking at the tree helps me relax. Especially at night when the house is dark and the only light is coming from the tree and the candles in the windows. It has a very calming effect on me. :o

Hey Dottie. :kiss: We put up our tree last night but were waiting a bit to decorate it after seeing how the dog reacted to it. Oddly enough, I think he might be afraid of it. :lol::rolleyes: Last night when we were setting it up he kept cowering away from it. Today it's as if he doesn't even know it's there so maybe it'll be alright.
