I'm going back to bed. Marc got home in time to see the girl for 10 minutes before I put her to bed. He's seen her a grand total of a half hour this entire week.

I told the story of the time Stacey went to the tree lighting and met 'NSync. I don't think she remembers too much else about that night.

Nicole...I love that girl.
I am sort of in between...Em is at her first for real sleep over, with a friend from school and Grant has primary charge of Wee Jack. So I'm sort of like half relaxed. Which is not really relaxing at all, if you know what I mean.
And how are you all?

agreed. You can keep them from clawing the furniture by providing scratching pads and keeping their nails trimmed. It's not too hard. (it's actually easier to trim my cats' nails than it is to trim Anya's...)
When you declaw an animal you're actually removing the equivalent of the entire first nuckle of thier fingers. Look at your hands and think not only how painful it must be, but how different it must feel having 1/3 of your fingers chopped off.

I'm still up, but only for a bit. I'm already kind of in for a hard time, as Grant the caregiver is asleep, which means that all baby duty is on me for the 6th night in a row.
Which is fine, but it does get hard. In his defense his new job starts at 7 am and I'm on leave. God bless your parents, Jo, I don't kow how they did it with 8.

Like, I can't even begin to describe how awesome it is.
God I miss it here.
But it is really weird.
And my cat remembers me!
And we have the cutest foster babies.
So yeah, we're making cookies like old times right now.
