Giving Thanks for Magic Friends

It sure is! I remember the first (and only) time I went to the tree lighting. It was PACKED there.:dazzle:
We used to go the day after. All the decorations were up, and it was crowded enough to feel excited but not so crowded that you felt crushed. I kind of miss that - it was special mommy time for us.

I told the story of the time Stacey went to the tree lighting and met 'NSync. I don't think she remembers too much else about that night. :D

We had a fire drill.......

Fun.
At my mom's nursing home there seems to be fire drills every few days. :dazzle:
I have a knack for walking in the front door just as the alarm goes off.
I'm then stuck in the lobby till the "all clear" sounds. Takes forever.

At least you're inside!!

Thanks Kristin...

I know what you mean...if it were a dog, I'd have all kinds of trouble wanting to find it's owner. I'd want to keep it. With kitty, I'm like, well, if I find the owner, that's fine...if not, that's cool too. I just will have to get her declawed b/c I can't have her hurting my dog.

Ok...first I have to say it is awesome of you to take the poor wee thing in. But please please please don't declaw before you give the animals a chance to feel each other out. You never know how it might play out and declawing is so cruel.

What is this "sun" you speak of?

We've had more than our share of the gloomies lately.
It was strange to see that light in the sky today.

Hello little mother.
How are you tonight?

agreed. You can keep them from clawing the furniture by providing scratching pads and keeping their nails trimmed. It's not too hard. (it's actually easier to trim my cats' nails than it is to trim Anya's...)

When you declaw an animal you're actually removing the equivalent of the entire first nuckle of thier fingers. Look at your hands and think not only how painful it must be, but how different it must feel having 1/3 of your fingers chopped off. :(
