I hope you had the pleasure to stay at the Micronesian Hotel, that place is AWESOME with a capital AWESOME!11one

I think it's so cool that they have a deal with Disney that allows people to access the monolift right outside the hotel.

You'd think they would offer transportation to Universal, though, since that's who owns them.

Oh, here's one.....I have people that came in saying "I can walk from Magic Kingdom to EPCOT and other parks, right?" I think my eyes got huge at this point and said "nooooo." To which, the people got huffy and said "They aren't far on the map!"

ARE YOU SERIOUS!!! that would cost like a couple hundred thousand dollars,we all know that Disney barely makes that in fiscal year geez

besides the money would be well spent on a Simpsons attraction in one of the amusement parks

I was talking to some other people smoking (in the appropriate area) near the France Pavillion when they said:
"We went to Universal yesterday and rode the Haunted Hollywood Hotel..... Tomorrow, we're going to Disneyland!"

I would think there's no more appropriate area. :lookaroun

While back Met my Aunt and Uncle who is spitting image of Gilbert Godfreid (same voice too). The entire trip had to listen to him talk about his awsome room in the "CONTEMPRA" resort-After 4 days I broke down and said "Dammit its the Conteporary Resort"

When I was waiting in line for Splash Mountain, there was a youngish man & woman behind me talking about a family visit to Disney (they were cousins or siblings). So the guy was telling the girl how grandpa won't go on the Epoct globe ride (I'm not sure what he called it) anymore because it freaked him out so much. I thought maybe it was too dark or something. But then he proceeded to say, "They don't warn you beforehand that it's a roller coaster or anything. So Grandpa was sitting and enjoying the ride to the top which is slow, but then they shoot you down really fast the whole way down and you know they take you up pretty high!"

What I found particularly funny is that I'm always amused by the number of "warnings" you get while on Spaceship Earth like it's slow moving journey through time, and, my favorite, that it tells you that your ride vehicle is turning to go backwards.

Earlier in the trip, at the front desk of my hotel the woman at concierge was calling it the big globe and asking what it's called when I inquired about any other refurbs.

I know this is a Satirical thread, but didn't you mean to say Contemporary? And here is an actual cell phone conversation I over heard:
Hi, yes, we are in Disneyland in Florida. I'm in the Cartoon area. We are about to get in line to meet some princesses. Who? Well, we are going to see the pink one, the blue one, and the yellow one.

During the Race For The Taste 10K earlier this month they had a crew of announcers at the finish line calling out names, telling you about Food & Wine, etc.

One of them was a girl who once or twice told the crowd that the last group of runners was entering World Showplace or just finished running through World Showplace.

You could here a little groan from the crowd gathered in the Epcot parking lot.

Doesn't it annoy you when this happens?

Last month, me and my family were at Walt Disney Land, having a great time. We went on the Haunted Fortress while waiting on our FastTrack tickets for Spaceship Mountain to come open.

Then we just walked around for a while, visiting Shrek's house in Toonland and getting a picture with Bugs Bunny and Batman next to Western World. Finally we walked through Ariel's Castle to the front of the park, hoping to take the monorail over to Disney's Animal Adventures. I was just about to buy a Fred Flinststone pin before leaving the park when some STUPID TOURIST walked up and said "can you tell me where Thunder Mountain is?"

I rolled my eyes and said "it's BIG Thunder Mountain RAILROAD" and pointed her toward Futureland.
Honestly people...get it right or stay home!! :fork:
:lookaroun

Wow...just wow! Frankly this is how they would talk at Disney..

While on line for Imagination (well, I can't really say "on line" more like walking right on) there was a 10ish boy behind me with his family. Every time he saw Figment, he would say "look, it's the monster from that Pete movie":brick:

When I worked at the DRC I had a guy who was furious with me because I couldn't sell him the park hopper ticket he wanted... You know, the one that's good for Disney, Universal and Sea World. We were fresh outta those that day :brick:
