George K to Replace Meg Crofton as WDW head in early 2013

Sounds like she's still there in 1/2 of the al Weiss role. Succession planning? If they're serious about 10% cuts how do you justify adding that salary back in?

Justify? Since when do they have to justify anything to the people who matter (not us, or guests, but Shareholders)

I'm surprised they didn't get rid of Holmes and change DHS VP I know ... musical chairs and all that ... but usually everyone in WDW does the merry jig...it seems a scaled back merry jig.

I have a strong feeling there is a quiet agreement to let her hold the position for a year or so - so her exit doesn't give the impression she is being escorted out. While sounding impressive, I wonder how much she will actually be responsible for now in this new role.

Nope Meg isn't gone she is still there in charge of France and US Ops. I'm still waiting for Phil Holmes to be announced as "He is going to spend more time with his family" spiel.
