First, I'd add a permanent m & g in uk, then I'd add a dark ride in uk! :)
Although the UK makes sense, I feel like adding characters to WS would ruin it's reputation.

I would go for a small area in DHS (replacing LMA). It would include a dark ride and a show. I always thought it would be cool if you were sitting on a carousel and then the horse comes off the track! But that's just my 2 cents ;)

@WED99 What would you do as a humongous DCA-style refurb to Disney's Hollywood Studios
Great question! Glad you asked :)

1) Remove the hat and refurb the beautiful Chinese Theatre!
2) Update GMR to be aimed more towards today's audience, include the following movies:
-Avatar
-Toy Story
-Mary Poppins
-Wizard of Oz/Oz the Great and Powerful
-Paranormal Activity
-Steamboat Willie
-Flowers and Trees
-Indiana Jones (Track Option 1)
-Star Wars (Track Option 2)
-Casablanca
-Forrest Gump
-The Good, The Bad and the Ugly
-The Godfather
3) Re-Theme Sunset Boulevard to reflect 50's hollywood including the following:
-Rock 'n' Roller coaster will drop the Aerosmith theme and become Rockabilly Rollercoaste featuring songs similar to this style.

-Re-Theme ToT to make the story fit the 50's. Nothing major just new props and pre-show.
-Fantasmic will remain, however the story will be completely different. Mickey is now the only hope to defeat Maleficient, and his journey he will encounter many different characters to train him for his battle. For example, Simba will teach him how to roar like a lion and have no worries, Gaston will show him how to fight, Mike and Sully will show him how to be scary etc. This will all lead up to the final battle against the dragon and multiple other villains.
4) Beauty and the Beast will go and be replaced by a Pirates of the Caribbean arena show! This indoor show will have the stage constructed so it surrounds the audience completely, allowing huge battle sequences to be 360 degrees! The main stage will have rotating sets, similar to CoP. Circle Vision projection will be utilised around the arena so that the story can be progressed while the stage moves, as well as projecting the setting during scenes.
5) Animation Courtyard will become "The Whimsical World of Walt Disney Animation", an area paying tribute the many films Walt Disney created. As guests enter the area, they will see a large recreation of Walt Disney's Hyperion Avenue studio, this is the new facade for "The Magic of Disney Animation" which will also be changed to "Walt Disney Animation Studios". In this attraction, guests will travel in small groups through different rooms. In each room, Walt himself will tell you the story of his first drawing right up to Jungle Book. There will be many interactive elements in the attraction, as well as a free roam area after the tour which involves more interactivity. Guests can still take drawing lessons in "The Art of Animation" but only with characters from Walt's time.
6) Replacing Voyage of the Little Mermaid will be a new dark ride, fitting the theme of Walt Disney Animation. It will be based around the Silly Symphonies. Guests get into an omnimover vehicle and travel through different scenes based around the most famous Silly Symphonies, these include Three Little Pigs, Flowers and Trees, The Skeleton Dance, The Old Mill and Music Land.
7) Disney Jr is defienentely going, but I'm not sure what to put there. Feel free to give ideas!
8) One Man's Dream is to be bulldozed and re-built in Magic Kingdom. The new Pirates show is going too. In that area will be something to address the problem of "Not enough for kids at DHS". It will be the new location of Mickey Avenue (same name as the street) a family fun area that pays tribute to the classic Mickey shorts. Attractions include:
-Steamboat Willie, a boat you can explore with all gags from the short. (In Black and White)
-Plane Crazy, a kiddie coaster. (In Black and White)
-The Band Concert, same as silly symphony swings in DCA. (In Colour)

More coming later, I came on here for a quick check and have been on for an hour :P

I agree with it completely up to here with the exception of Paranormal Activity and Flowers and Trees. I'm sure we can find another horror film than Paranormal Activity.

I think how Sunset Boulevard is now is perfect. Btw, I love that style of music that you proposed but if anything is going to change in a retheme of Rock 'n Rollercoaster, it should be the gangster theme. Tower of Terror shouldn't be touched. I LOVE the new Fantasmic idea but why would Gaston help him fight the villains when Gaston is a villain?

How does Pirates of The Caribbean fit 1920s Hollywood or 1950s Hollywood like in your plan? Cool idea but wrong place for it

I LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVVEEEE THIS IDEA!!!!!! only problem is that, wouldn't it be kind of odd to have both Pixar Animation land as well as Walt Disney Animation land? I think it'd be better if we made one HUGE Disney Studios Land where we could include you Pirates stunt show, the hyperion studio recreation, Oz Great and Powerful Dark Ride, and a Tron bike coaster.

I don't think a dark ride would fit in this space, and once again look at the last post for what I think of what should happen to Animation Courtyard

Totly agree… I thought the paranormal activity movies were terrible! How about Friday the 13th or nightmare on elm street? That would sure scare the crap out of people!

For Disney Jr could be where part of my idea of a Disney Studios could go.

One Man's Dream I hope will go in Main Street ;). I love the idea of Mickey shorts land (heck I even thought of a land extremely similar with plane crazy coaster in black and white) but i don't think theres enough space, it'd just be all cramped up in the tiny current Mickey Avenue. And if you're going with my idea of Disney Studios, you'd need that space for the Tron attraction or the Oz.

I think Paranormal Activity did a really good job at what it tried to do, scare people. Plus it would be epic in a ride! Flowers and Trees was the first colour animated short ever, it really changed things. What was your reason for not wanting it?

Gangstrer theme? Not sure how that would work. I think slight change to Tower of Terror wouldn't hurt, the ride would be the same. And I don't see Gaston as a villain, he was just a loser. Maybe he felt bad for what he did and thought he could help Mickey?

It doesn't, but neither does BatB and no one seems to mind. Once you star walking towards the arena you leave the 50's and enter a whole new area! But you are right, it could be better placed!
