Two things of note:
1. I went to Boston Pizza tonight (based in Edmonton AB, oddly enough, so I doubt you've heard of it), and there was a "street magician" of sorts going from table to table. He looked just like Howie Mandel, who's actually in their commercials. ANYWAY... after a cool card trick, we all noticed his Sorcerer Mickey pin, watch, and tie. So he sat down with us and we ended up talking about Disney for a good 10 minutes, before our food came. :lol:
2. My sister (who's attending a Florida college starting next month, for the uninformed) just found out who her roommate is today.
...She loves roller coasters.

Greetings all. Been busy the last week or so. Today was busy with interpreting and teaching. Hands have been running all day. Tired physically and mentally.
Found out Friday my FIL is in the hospital with blood clots in his leg and heart fibrillations. He is 82. Now all our plans are in a mess. We will be changing them as the situation needs
My daughter has carpel tunnel in her wrist. Same one as her previous 3 surgeries. Fortunately ____ was able to go back to the same specialist for treatment and possible further surgery. Doc wants more tests to make sure she is not having other problems that might be causing the carpel tunnel.
Hope everyone is doing well.

It's going to be 103 here today. Joy. Slept miserably last night... Marc slept worse - he didn't get to bed until 3:30 AM because work sprung a last minute project on him and told him it was due today. :brick:
In other news, today's our 2nd Wedding Anniversary! Woo, us! We were supposed to go away to a little BnB, but I had to cancel... it's just not in the budget right now... and it looks like a good thing I did, what with his work situation.
Since nobody's here, I'm off to make some bacon and eggs for my sweetie, and surprise him with breakfast in bed.

Our 16th is at the end of August. We always try to write a note to each other every year, telling each other why we love the other person. As the years have gone by, it's gone from more emotional feeling to a practical love. I mean, the love is there emotionally, we just try to find ways to encourage each other in those notes.
It may be hot today, but I really don't plan on sticking my nose out the door if I can help it.
