All true. What's really nice is that I had the opportunity to see it on opening day (actually the night before at a special showing) so I got to experience it without all of the hype. My wife, who is the single biggest of movies that I have ever met, looked at me in the eyes and asked how she hadn't heard anything about the film prior to the release......and that it was absolutely, instantly, one of her favorite movies of all time. I turned to my 20 year old son on the other side of me and he simply said..............."Wow", and then asked me to download the soundtrack on the way home. He wanted to go and see it again the next night, and then again when my older kids were home for Christmas, and then the sing along version..........but it was really that first moment after the film that I realized how special I thought the movie really was. I really thought Disney blew the marketing campaign with that stupid teaser, and that the movie was probably not very good. And in that first moment after the credits started to roll, I really felt like it was the start of something special. The last time I really felt that level of surprise and delight was, honest to goodness, The Little Mermaid. Total surprise and total delight.

I hope Idina KILLS IT tonight!

$1,000,236,000 to be exact. Another $63 million and it will surpass Toy Story 3 as the highest grossing animated film of all time. I would post celebratory gifs, but I will wait until tonight, when Frozen has the triumphant trio of Academy Award for Best Animated Feature, Best Original Song, and the Billionaire Club. What a great day for Frozen fans.
I am more than delighted to see this many people fall back in love with Walt Disney animation. I really think it was the fact that this film is a full blown musical like what they used to do that did the trick.

My kids are on the 2nd viewing of frozen today and they decided to have a Frozen party for their birthdays. Any one up for pin the nose on Olaf?

On the Oscars note - Idina shared her "glamorous warm up"

:D So...who else yelled "Iger you suck!" at the TV when they showed him applauding for Frozen's win?

Great win for Frozen and WDA

Well despite many of the haters ( I love how this is a buzzword) I think audiences and critics agree, we are in the midst of a new Disney renaissance. Numbers are showing, the awards are showing, audiences are enamored with the film, its just hard to refute it now.

I honestly went to Twitter to make sure I heard his introduction correctly. I thought maybe my tv had a quick glitch. Adele Dazeem, like what the heck? Get it together John!

Someone brought up on twitter than he has dyslexia, so it's TOTALLY mean to make fun of him. And that's fair- it's not like his job for the past four decades has included memorizing names for the purposes of performance and OH WAITASEC.
