When I think of X-Men and Frozen, I can't help but think of Rogue. Having to wear gloves because of her powers (like Elsa), and her white streaks in her hair (like Anna).
And also HOT.

I know this isn't Disney, but holy god, go see The Lego Movie. It's the best animated film in a decade.

Surprising. It's one of the highest rated animated films in the last 5 years, and the audience for this film skews older than most CGI films.I actually didn't care for the Lego Movie at all. The animation was choppy, the 3D blurry, and the action frenetic and juvenile. My wife and I actually walked out after 45 minutes. To each their own.
Reviews and knowledge of the filmmakers should be enough. The trailers haven't convinced me to see it. People are saying it's great, so maybe it's ok, but I'm not in any rush.
The film has a very creative story. Every pop culture reference serves the plot, just like Wreck It Ralph and Roger Rabbit.Yeah, well I'm not a huge Lego fan, and I'm not crazy about stringing together a narrative out of pop culture references. Not to say that it can't be done well, after all look at Wreck-It Ralph, but I didn't see that one in theaters either.
The moment I've been waiting for, and one that in November, I never imagined would happen. After grossing an impressive $6.9 million this weekend in direct competition with The Lego Movie, Frozen has SURPASSED Despicable Me 2 with a $368.6 million domestic total as the highest grossing animated film of 2013. It's worldwide total stands at a gargantuan $913.7 million and is guaranteed to pass $1 billion. Cue celebratory gifs:
Frozen is currently the 28th highest grossing film of all time and the fourth highest grossing animated release.
It's getting close to beating despicable mes global record, Once it is released in china and japan this film could very well reach the billion dollar club and beat toystory 3.The moment I've been waiting for, and one that in November, I never imagined would happen. Glad we can agree on this. Despicable Me 2 was quite disappointing compared to the charm and heart of the first one. Monsters University should have received that Oscar Best Animated Feature nomination instead.Congrats to WDAS. That's especially sweet since Despicable Me 2 was even more underwhelming (I can't STAND Lucy).
