Me too. I have always had a thing for Peabody, hope it doesn't disappoint, it does look fun.
The animation for that one looks really nice too!

I think that was a typo and they meant Best Animated Feature.

It's not a given to win since 'The Wind Also Rises' is eligible and it's Miyazaki's last movie.
That would make sense, as the globes usually show whats to come for the oscars.

It will (should) win the Globe. For the Globes a movie cannot be in both the Best Foreign Film and Animation so no competition against 'The Wind Also Rises' .

I believe it is only competing against The Croods and Despicable me at the Globes. It better win over those 2.

I don't see Frozen making the Best picture noms even with 10 possible spots. I've been checking the top 10 lists from critics and it's not showing up. When talking animation and music critics love it! But best picture has too much competition even with 10 possible spots.

Yeah... Frozen might be my favorite movie of the year but I know there is no shot at best picture. Disney would have to submit it for that and not animated... no way they would do that.

The only animated films I believe were worth of best picture where Wall-e and Toy Story 3

Granted, that one was almost cheating, as OF COURSE it was going to get nominated, as it had something the Academy loves to bits- singing French people in period clothing.

I went with my two boys (5 & 3) today to see Frozen again. It was the 10:40 am matinee and the theater was half packed. I think it was mostly families seeing the movie again because it turned into Karaoke Frozen because a lot of the kids were singing along and loudly, including my two. If you go back a few pages, you can watch my older one sing Let it Go. I haven't done this in forever, see a movie a second time in a theater. I still cried, I'm still mad at Hans and this is still my favorite movie of the year and it IS my favorite Disney movie. I can't wait for its release on Blu Ray, February is so far away.

Seeing as it hasn't been mentioned yet, Frozen made $1.9 million yesterday, enough to bring it's current domestic to $300 MILLION! It now joins a list of 7 animated films that have grossed over $300 million, and is only the 3rd Disney/Pixar film to accomplish the feat. It's next milestone is to take over Despicable Me 2 as the highest grossing animated release of 2013. I don't think anyone at Disney Animation Studios or just about anyone could have projected the success of this film, and the crazy fact is that it's still going strong. I have seen Frozen about 4 times in theaters, and with my mom having yet to see it, I'm probably going to see it once more.
