How is upgrading or adding attractions to nearly every pavilion a "cash grab"?

Not to mention my suggestion for a new parade and upgraded nightly fireworks.
I'm talking about your idea for adult entertainment at night after the park closes. Your idea of character attractions while not a cash grab is just plain wrong for WS.

And yet he didn't specify EP. See you on the parks soon. And by soon I mean perhaps before the end of the decade. Or the next....

No he did not mention WS which is why I did not speak for him and yet you still found fault with that.

And yet you still felt the need to bring him into a discussion about the area being discussed. Again, see you in the parks (perhaps) by the end of the decade.

WS would be open to everyone until midnight. It would be centered on adult offerings and special ticketed events. Nobody would be forced out. Families would just find the other parks or Disney Springs a better option in the evenings.

As for adding characters to WS, we will have to agree to disagree. I have already explained my reasoning. You should subscribe to Epcot Explorers twitter feed. You are kindred spirits.

Exactly, a cash grab. FYI I don't use Twitter, not my thing.

There is no reason Epcot can't have rides in each counties pavilion and still have adult offerings like food and wine at the same time. Germany should build the Rhyne river ride. Japan a bullet train. The rat ride in France. I'm not sure about each countries ride but something either about the country or like Norway based on a legend. I have to agree that Frozen does not really fit in Norway. But the rat would because it deals with French cooking.

So having entertainment adults could enjoy during normal hours and included with the price of admission is now something that could bankrupt them? Gee, I wonder how they stayed afloat for all these years.

You are conviently forgetting about Future World for families in the evening. And ticketed events are optional. People like them so they offer them. And the customer is always right.

New rides should definitely be built in World Showcase, just none based on characters.

For the record:
- I do not approve of characters in World Showcase. Barely tolerate them in Epcot at all.
- Yes, WDW needs more adult offerings. Not sure WS is the place. DTD is better.
- Not in favor of more separate ticket events. Or up-charges.

Was there anything else?

The good thing about upcharge events is that they are optional, and so far, aside from Harambe closing early, are not taking away from anyone's experience.

As long as they continue to sell, why not? Seems like a no brainer to me. And many guests are coming away happy.

Am I going to pay extra for a better view of the Frozen gals? Heck no. But Harambe Nights sounds like a great dinner and a show night for my DF and I.

Back on topic, and I've said it before, LEAVE MAELSTROM ALONEEEEEEE!!

You just don't understand that Disney is a business and they need to do those things because they have always done those things.

And kids love it so it must be for the best.

Back to the up charge thing...
I will say, I like the MK parties. I just got tickets for the MNSSHP in October for three reasons:
1. The Mrs. likes it a lot.
2. Free candy!
3. I get about 8 hours in the MK for $67. ('Cuz I ain't paying $100 for a day visit.)

It's pretty much the only way to get me to a WDW park right now, short of a CM walking me in.
