Please let this convince someone that frozen is better suited at dhs than epcot...Anyways beyond that I think this is all terrific as far as additional free offering go. Finally gives me a reason to go a stay a day at the studios for a change. I can't wait to check it out july 5th!

Interesting that they call it a goodwill tour of neighboring kingdoms, I am wondering whether we will see Epcot and AK next in the rotation for a royal visit after September. I can see it now Frozen 2: the search for more money
Frozen?!?! Oh ****, there goes World Showcase.

You beat me to the question. Was thinking the same thing. Are they still going to do Rock Your Summer Side or is Frozen replacing it?
This has to be replacing it, announced 6 days later. The Rock Your Summer Side was a DJ party that was supposed to run from 6-10 PM through 8/22. I'm guessing it will run through 7/4 instead? The Frozen dance party is supposed to be 5:30-9:30 with the fireworks at 9:45.

Thats a much better idea than the "Rock your Summer Side" party....

Uh. No. Youre reading too much into things.

I sincerely doubt there will be a park tour after this. If anything? I can see it extended into part of Q1 FY15, but only if crowds become ridiculous.

I just want to know what form Olaf will be in? If he has been brought to life in fur form then you can better believe people will want to meet him, not just see him on a stage.
My guess is that it will be voice-only announcements/songs over the PA system in Streets of America for when he "chimes in" throughout the day. I imagine it will be similar to the terrible hip-and-edgy commentary that they used to (still do?) play in DCA's backlot about Aladdin parking his carpet illegally, etc

And for the evening show with Anna, Elsa, and Kristoff on the stage, I would imagine that he will be represented on the video screens. I can't imagine that they will have a walkaround ready in time, even if they started work on it a while back (and everything indicates that this was hastily thrown together)

From Disney Guest Relations Q and A answer

Will Guests be able to meet Anna and Else at Disney’s Hollywood Studios?

Anna and Elsa will be making appearances as part of the Royal Welcome, “Frozen” Sing-Along, and “Frozen” Fireworks Spectacular. Princess Fairytale Hall at Magic Kingdom Park will continue to serve as the meet and greet location for Anna and Elsa.

Will Guests be able to meet Olaf in the park?
Olaf will be appearing during this event on screen and in announcements heard throughout the park. At this time, Olaf is not available for character greetings at Disney Parks.

Will Disney FastPass+ service be available for any experiences as part of this event?
Disney FastPass+ service will not be available at this time for the Frozen Summer Fun experiences.

I'm not too sure about any of this, to be honest. I was never a huge fan of Frozen in the first place, however I'm fine with the stage show and the meet and greets - but that's it. I understand that because it's a popular film, Disney will milk the crap out of it, but this is a lot of Frozen for just one park. I don't know.. it just doesn't seem right, for the lack of a better term.

That is exactly right. Olaf will be in audio and video format only.

It says STARTING July 5th

Now it does. At the time of my post, confirmation had not come yet and word was just leaking of the details.

Do you see the 20+ other posts before mine of people wondering if this was going to be a one day event?

Thanks for playing though.
