I love this idea but am very disappointed that it's only running until the beginning of September. Our Disneymoon is on September 12th :-(. Wonder what they have planned after the first?
They have gone from an event that really does nothing, to something that will actually bring people into the park.Thats a much better idea than the "Rock your Summer Side" party....
According to this below:
There will be no meet and greet for Frozen at DHS, at least right away.
It is heading into a quiet period, so my best guess would be it will end on Sep 1 and will not continue on.I love this idea but am very disappointed that it's only running until the beginning of September. Our Disneymoon is on September 12th :-(. Wonder what they have planned after the first?
Frozen started in Epcot. Them went to MK. Now DHS so AK would be next. That's if they rotate but AK doesn't work.Frozen?!?! Oh ****, there goes World Showcase.
My bad. Must have mistaken The Magic Kingdom with DHS.

whaaaaaaat?I think you'd remember the Valentine's Day one if you saw it. Goofy swallowed Mickey and Minnie.
That is a ridiculous major, major FAIL.
Certainly they have time to put together a 2-room meet and greet (in order to have at least 2 sets of Anna and Elsa – 3 counting breaks) somewhere in DHS to take the pressure off of the other m&g at MK.
Having all of this at DHS but not having a meet & greet there is one of the silliest things I've seen TDO do – and the list of ridiculousness is a mile long.
Can you imagine how many furious people there will be?
Wish it would run a bit later into September!

maybe they might add other stuff in the same spots after these days? Why not Just keep it there in stead of Only Until Sept 1?
Eh... personally, I think that it's all still a bit much lol... but then again, I'm not a huge fan of Frozen. I know overall attendance will go up at HS, since so many people are crazed with Frozen right now (or at least have kids who are that way), but honestly, if I was going to Disney between now and September 1, I'd probably be avoiding HS unless I wanted to check out the fireworks. So yeah, for me personally, this would be overkill, but I can see how for families with kids in the right age groups, this would easily be a whole-day affair.
I wonder If they will extend it further if its a hit.
I mean they did the same with the lion king show's "temporal" place.
I have to agree. I'm not sure that having a show and fireworks really replaces the idea of actually getting to meet the characters. At least it wouldn't be enough for me if I was a kid who wanted to meet them.

I have the same feelings on Frozen. I have been shocked at how popular it's become. I saw it when it first opened and thought..."A bit better than Tangled, but it ain't no Lion King". Broader public opinion clearly disagrees with us. Given that, I can't argue with what Disney is doing here. My 4 year old son is a big fan of Frozen, so if we were down there, there's no doubt we'd hit every part of this thing. Thankfully, he thinks M&G's are kind of silly, so we won't have to wait 3 hours to meet Elsa and Anna ever.Eh... personally, I think that it's all still a bit much lol... but then again, I'm not a huge fan of Frozen.
