Thanks very much for the update on Maria.

My thoughts and prayers are with everyone in the area that was hit by the Hurricane.

Here in New Orleans, we are keeping a close eye on things, to see what we may need to do, if the Hurricane goes back into the Gulf of Mexico and heads to the U.S. Gulf Coast, as has been predicted.

Poor Maria...it looks bad! Now we might also have to worry about our Louisiana members! They're saying they won't know much until tomorrow, and you shouldn't be "hit" (if it turns) until Wed or Thur. Sounds like you all are preparing, just in case. I'm thinking of you...be careful.

Raisun, thanks for posting that. I have been worried sick about Maria. I spoke with several members last night but no one had heard anything from her. I will keep her in my prayers, because with all the devestation there, it is going to be hard for all who live around there.

I am also afraid for our LA friends. Debbie, I hope everything is going well for you. I will also keep you in my prayers and hope for the best for you and your family. I haven't seen what the hurricane has done today, so I don't know if they still think it is going to turn and come for you all next. Take care though.

Maria, I'm so relieved you and your family are alright.

I am relieved she is Ok. I have been thinking about her all day.
I knew it would be bad, based on our own experiences of past.
Paula, thanks for the well wishes, Marcia, you too. I have getting things organized today in preparation of the call that may never come. However, it doesn't hurt to have the house all picked up and all the paperwork handy anyway. I will let you all know the minute we get the signal to pack up.
Now I think I may need to drink a Hurricane to take the edge off:animwink:

THANKS for providing us with that update, Ray!!!!!! I have been a wreck worrying about our Maria. I'll tell ya, the bonds formed here are so impressive. I wanna cry now. I hope that they get through the clean up & such out there quickly & things can get back to normal for everyone in that area.
