As we left Narcoossee’s, we walked around the GF for a bit. Julia picked up a cpuple of things at Basin. There was construction going on inside the hotel. We took the monorail over to the MK and then a bus back to POP. We were able to see some of the fireworks as we waited for us bus.

We got back to the resort and fell into bed. We had an early ADR for breakfast in the morning. This time next week we would be home.

Thank you - yes it was delish!!

The bowling pin pool is actually my favorite and then Hippy Dippy. I don't really like the computer pool at all.

It was an early morning rise today for us – and as you know, we don’t always handle early morning ADR’s very well. Ross wasn’t feeling that well and he was complaining about the early reservation, so I handed him a bottle of Ibuprofen and left him in the bathroom.

The girls and I headed to the bus stop which was PACKED! Plus I had never seen so many scooters waiting to load. One family got into a fight with the bus driver because they were a party of 3 scooters (and about 20 people) and they were told that only 2 could fit on the bus. They were causing a scene and people were so frustrated with them. It was crazy!

We finally got on a bus and were on our way. Ross actually caught up to us – that’s how long it took us!!

We all met up and got to Tusker House a few minutes past our reservation time.

Now I really enjoy Tusker House, but apparently Ross and Julia do not. Julia says the restaurant is too bright, Ross just doesn’t enjoy this place as much as others and Hope – well, she has no complaints! Lol I thought the food was great and the characters were fun!

However, the characters were quick interactions unlike some if the other places we had been. Our server wasn’t very attentive and seemed really cold to us. We still left a decent tip and suddenly, she was super nice to us.

We did get our "prize" for breakfast...

Afterwards we took some photos.

Then we headed to Dinosaur. We actually had a FP for the safari, but the girls weren’t feeling it – so we swapped for a trip back to prehistoric times.

We used the bathrooms and then rode the spin cycle followed by dino dumbo.

At some point, Ross was not feeling well, so he went back to the room to rest. I felt bad for him. He works so hard all year, and then he ends up not feeling great during vacation.

The girls and I went to watch Nemo… I always cry !!! lol

Then we headed back to Pandora. Julia and I LOVED the Night Blossom!

We rode the River Journey and then FoP. We decided to watch ITTBAB again – we really do enjoy this one. But I have to admit – I’ve never seen the movie!!

And then, Julia was in complete heaven – she found Matcha!!!

We both got one - and it was really good!

After our Matcha fix, we took on the Yeti one more time.

Then we made our way out of AK – but not before Hope decided she need to dance a little bit.

We hooped a bus that took us right to MK. E entered around 4:30 and both girls stopped to get their SOTMK cards before anything else! Hope decided she wanted to take some pictures of the store fronts.

Julia wanted to buy a pair of ears.

Umm…. Nooooooooo!!!!!!

She settled for these little beauties.

And just an FYI… these ears would soon be the source of drama!

Ross met back up with us. He had slept for most of the day and was feeling better.

We stuck around Tomorrowland for a while. Visiting Buzz and the CoP.

Ross snoozed a bit…

We ventured off to Fantasyland where my baby was chosen to be a platter?

We went under the sea with Ariel and it stopped a couple of times. Hope was not ahppy and it didn’t help that she was riding with Ross. He really does have a tough time handling her sometimes.

But luckily all was made right by riding SDMT and then meeting Ariel…

And Hope was able to go through the queue this time.

After that we left the park and headed over to the Poly for our Ohanna dinner ADR. Looking back, I shouldn’t have made it so late. Would I ever learn?? (Foreshadowing here….)

That said, dinner was delicious and we got to see the fireworks. We didn’t have great seats, but no matter, it was still awesome!

I got this drink – omg – I forget the name! Covalda?? It was tooooooo sweet!!! Like sickening sweet! I should have went for the drink in the pineapple!!!

And the sweet waiter also brought Hope "just vanilla"!

It was late and we were beat – back to Pop we went.

She LOVED that hat!!!

I managed to do some laundry when we got back. It was easier because the laundry room was always empty at night. I crashed about 1:00am.

Up next… We bounce back – or so we thought…

I wish we had a better driver – he was very quiet and it was a little awkward with zero conversation.

Um....is that not normal to have no conversation with the driver? We did several Uber trips on our vacation and had zero conversation with ANY of them. I figured that was just how they do it....like, maybe most people prefer not to talk to people they don't know?

I've had some Uber/Lyft drivers that are very chatty, some that just made a little small talk, and some that just said hello and then were quiet. I don't mind if they are chatty or quiet, but I do take my queue from them. I want them to drive me first and foremost and then if they want to chat I'll chat, if they don't that's fine with me too.

We usually get very talkative drivers, so I guess I was just used to it. We've only used Lyft in WDW, so that's all I have to go by.

I think it's because we've always seem to get chatty drivers that made this ride a little odd. Usually I am the one that prefers to stay quiet! lol

I woke up realizing I still had laundry in the washer! There was no point in rushing, so I finished up the laundry while everyone else took their time getting ready.

Ross booked the bounce-back. Julia asked if the boy could join us next year and we said ok. After talking to a CM about several options, we decided that we would get a family suite at ASMusic. Hope was really hoping for AoA, but we thought AS Music was a better choice. We were told the rooms were being remodeled and we were very hopeful that they would be complete by the time our September 2020 trip rolled around. We had booked for 14 nights with Free Dining that we upgraded to the regular dining plan. Ross was considering upgrading to the deluxe dining, but we didn’t make that decision that particular morning. The girls and I were also planning to do our girls pre-trip before and little miss was so trying to get daddy to book The Contemporary!! But for the moment, the plan was to hit up AoA or POP since she wanted to ride the Skyliner so badly and we would be just missing it this year. Would Ross cave in and book the Contemporary?? We may never know. Lol. We were all excited – well except the boy who we already knew was hesitant to be invited. But we figured he had a year to come around. We were all excited for the following trip and found ourselves making plans, even though it was a year away…..

We all left the room at about 10:30 and headed to EPCOT specifically for Germany . It was a special day and we had a special lunch planned.

We entered EPCOT around 11:00am and had time for a few texts….

And a ride on Test Track.

Then we walked over to Germany to meet @dizfan917 and Kevin!!! We were so excited! It was awesome to finally meet up with them and it was truly a magical time. (And it only took me almost 4 years to post it!! lol)

After lunch we said our goodbyes and headed off…. We took our time today and just walked around without any specific things we needed to get done. Well… except for that night – it was our food & wine night – NO sit down meal!!

We got Hope a passport and went over to visit Donald and friends...

Then we walked around a bit and walked back over to Future World.

We rode Figment and watched the Pixar shorts and then went to the Chase Photo Experience which was nest to Imagination. I was wishing we were going to meet Figment. Alas, we did not, but it was my second favorite photo of the trip...

Then it was time to head over to World Showcase and start our eating adventures. It included getting Hope a passport and some chicken tenders, since she is not such an adventurous eater. lol
