They will probably have a comedian on-board who will do shows in the lounge, and probably one of the shows one of the nights in the Walt Disney Theater. Last one was great.

Hope they don't hassle about the Port Arrival Time, since we finished the Online-Check-In so late the earliest Port Arrival Time time was 2:30-3pm.
They started this on my last cruise, nevertheless I planned on being there 1st thing as I always had...until I realized that I had forgotten my passport and had to turn around not getting back until WAY after our arrival time.
I can't imagine that they will worry about this, they probably only 'hope' that it will alleviate the early crowds (most people toe the line) and if they do I will handle it like our change, with tact, stubbornness, diplomacy and lies...maybe I'll make up something about having to get in there do to medical reasons.
Odds are they will just wave us in without a problem, there were usually not really that many there that early (9:30am)

Any input from the forum on this?

...as I mentioned, free champagne at the art auction, to ply open your wallet.
... on-board $200-$500 credit giveaways at the DVC membership seminars
...other chances to win spa experiences (I think at the bingo games, whether you play or not)
...then there's the on-board detective game where (like sorcerers of the magic kingdom) you take your detective-card and find the hidden animated messages hidden in the various artwork throughout the ship until you defeat the villain...if you are into this sort of thing
...free appetizers in the adult area in the evenings, including chocolate dipped strawberries
...there's mini-golf, shuffleboard, and basketball, but no rock climbing
and many things I haven't experienced since I'm always with my daughter.

Looks like the other ships just 50% bigger than the Wonder and Magic.
Each ship has it's own 'icon' in the lobby, I think it's Donald on the Dream?
the Wonder and Magic are pretty much the same except the adult area is differently themed
I imagine the same goes for the Dream and the Fantasy.
The Dream is laid out better on the upper deck with all the food places all in one place instead of scattered all about the deck as they are on the Wonder and Magic
However the drink bar is on the opposite end of the deck.

I found a recap from my last cruise:
wish I could find the name of our servers, they were REAL good last time
the time before our beverage server was horrible
(the ladies loved him, but were upset when he took forever with their drinks, and he couldn't remember to serve me my soda without a straw)
Sun, 7/24 Crazy, late lunch deck 11, Villains Tonight, dinner, Prom,
Mon, 7/25 CC, sleep in, lunch, dinner PotC?, Wall–e on demand
Tue, 7/26 Na, sleep in, lunch, tour, DVC, Cars2, Pirate Night, Mars needs Moms
Wed, 7/27 @C, sleep in, Golden Mickey’s, Golden Mickey’s,
Thu, 7/28 CC, sleep in, AquaDuck, swimming, lunch at Cabanas, Believe, Believe, dinner, pack
Fri, 7/29 breakfast, drive home
Villains Tonight, Golden Mickey's and Believe are the amazing ships 'broadway' show, with my favorite (seen on every ship) being the Golden Mickey's. Villains and Believe are not seen on the Wonder and Magic.

No credits since it was booked through DVC, however if you book through Small World they give you a credit and if you use your Disney Visa you also get a credit.
The only possible credit that I might end up with is a fuel surcharge...although I imagine that the could also be an additional charge if fuel has gone up since booking?

...but that's why I plan on being at the 1st DVC meeting (which is usually a party for DVC members) with free cookies and champagne...and a sales discussion more geared to existing members adding on to their memberships.
I'm a member, could probably do a good job in selling, but I've had a LOT of frustration with it.

What do you mean by everything? There are plenty of things to buy.
if you want a spa experience, that could set you back a few hundred.
but the shows, the movies, the regular restaurants, Castaway Cay beach, food, tram are all included.

...if you find a girl named Jasmine on-board ask her for a happy ending, she'll let you know what it means...

makes you wonder, though, international waters, ship sales out of Nassau, it would be legal on-board...special princess service, that special moment...Aladdin would be a bit upset, though, I imagine.

I just read through this whole thread and showed my wife. Very generous offer JeffH and lucky for you StarBurst. My wife actually said it was too bad I did not see it earlier and be the lucky one taking the cruise. I asked her if she was serious and she said sure, sounds like a good guys day out, only on water for several days. Hope you both become good friends and have a great trip. Oh, StarBurst, hope you have a great trip, but do wish it was me instead!

I was actually hoping a gal would take me up on the offer (dream on, Jeff), however, I'm sure Allyn and I will have a great time...without the sexual tension. You never know, there are other cruises that I know my daughter can't go on (the cheap ones during school) that I now have a 'buddy' to go with (he'd have to pay his half, though, in the future), including member (DVC) cruises that usually occur in September, non-Disney Cruises (like Star Trek cruises that I've always wanted to go on).
You never know, maybe we will bump into a pair of gals on the trip...I'll pack the Viagra, Cialis, and Lavitra:)

I had a couple of Yorkies, Bo Jangles and I went to WDW a few times. He hated the kennels, but he loved the mid-day visits with me, especially at Epcot where you could run all over the place. We rode in the back seat of the tram and he'd bark into the tram operators microphone on demand, he loved that, too. (the other Yorkie, Jingle Jangles, ended up with my 1st ex-wife...who I'd also asked on this cruise with no response)

Most travel agents give an onboard credit as a "thank you" or so it seems from everything I've read. I know Kingdom Konsultants has been very kind to us. ;) Also, I've brought Parrot Bay rum, Firefly sweet tea vodka, and Crown Royal in standard fifth size glass bottles onboard. If you carry it onboard, you can have it. Things like bottles of wine and stuff if you bring that onboard and want it served with your dinner there's a corkage fee. Don't put bottles of liquor into your checked bags. That's a no-no because it's not just your luggage you risk if the bottles should be compromised. But, like I said, if you carry it onboard you can have at it. I've actually seen people carrying multiple cases of beer, too. LOL!

and i like pekingese pic, i used to have one myself

He was our baby for 16 years and brought a lot of joy to our house. Miss him like crazy but just can't bear changing the avatar. He passed a couple of years ago and for the longest we did not get another pet, but we recently got a Maltese puppy who is a shelter rescue and he is becoming spoiled as well.
