I saw on another site that the Free Dining Plan is back for August 13 - September 30. Does anyone know if you can get this deal if you check in on the 30th? This deal might be our only chance to take a trip to the world this year! I hope so!

I already booked from 9/2 to 10/1. i went through AAA. I am wondering do you all think I will have to cancel and rebook for this. I have the dining plan now added. i am just wondering if they will take it off or make me re book. Anyonme know how AAA works with this?? I am waiting til my AAA agent gets in I already left the poor girl 4 emails in regards to this.

i am a Disney card holder as well and if I have to cancel with AAA and book thru disney it will still be cheaper since AAA is only 10% ( I think off of the prices of rooms and tickets).

I am so excited I have a family of 5 this will save us alot of money and my husband says we can stay an extra day !!!!

we were wondering the same thing..we booked with AAA as well for september...I'll have to call her monday..if she does'nt call me first..

AAA should switch you over to the new pkg. I would call to ask if I were you.

On the bookings that are over 10 days. If you are staying over 10 days, you have to have your reservations split. For example: You are staying a total of 14 nights your reservations would be for 9 nights with a 10 day hopper or 10 nights with a 10 day hopper and 5 nights with the remaining days of tickets that you want. You would have 2 reservation #'s.

If anyone would like to book this new pkg. Please feel free to contact one of our representatives via our toll free #, PM or e-mail.

LOl......Dam you had all us jealous around here!!! I ran and told my husband about that.....a whole month..LOL

yes I'll be calling my lady at AAA ....this is great....now if only they come back with the special that they had a few years ago that the resorts prices were unbelivable...the one that you could stay at the grand floridian for the price of one of the moderate resorts and such....that was a great deal as well...but this dining plan....it is such a great plan......and for free...yahooo!!!!!

I was just on Deb Will's site http://www.allearsnet.com/din/restnews.htm where she says this offer is for "select VALUE resorts". Does this mean I cant get the free dining if I am staying at a deluxe? Is she right or did she make a mistake typing that?
Hey Did, The answer is, for the price that was quoted it was Select Value resorts. You can stay at ANY of the resorts on property, you may just pay more for the Deluxe resorts than the advertised price!!!! Just a marketing gimmick!!! Belle

Hey all! After reading this post and learning about the free dining (which we took advantage of last year) I just called last night and made my reservations for September. 8 days. Staying at Pop Century. Except this time I'll make my dining reservations very early so we don't get shut out like last time.

TWO very important things to remember

1. Make RESERVATIONS early as possible, otherwise you will be shut out. You can make your dining reservations 6 months in advance.

2. Be aware that the dining plan IS NOT valid for every day of your trip. It's linked to the # of nights. For example, I'll be there for 8 days...staying seven nights...so I only get meal plans for 7 days. This can be quite shocking if you don't realize this till you try to use your card and are rejected.

:sohappy: YEAH!! Changed my reservations added a day and all dining is free. Saved us over 800 dollars!!!! That is so awesome. I LOVE DISNEY. So now I have 10 days for the dining package since I am staying 10 nights. Have to make reservations for dining today. :)

OOPs AAA has no problems with changing it. I think someone wanted to know.
No fees. MY agent says she would have called and given it to everyone of her clients anyway. She said it was scheduled for April 6th to be open to the public so disney must have changed it to the 4th andthe 1st for Disney Visa .

:sohappy: Awesome, my trip is eligible. I'm going 9/30-10/8. Called my AAA agent, left her a voice mail alerting her to the new plan and asked if she could find out if my trip was going to be able to use it. She just called me back and said it was taken care of. For AAA users, what they do is add back on the original AAA discount off the package, THEN take off for the dining plan. I ended up with a savings of $479.39. My original balance owed was roughly $617, now it's $213. Thanks to all for the heads up and good info, especially you Belle

And I've already got Chef Mickeys for breakfast and Le Cellier for dinner set up for my birthday 10/1
