This was the first pin I have ever received, I dont think we will be making it down during those dates though. Heres to hoping I get another one that WILL work for me in the future!

(I gotta say, even though I cant use it, it was very exciting to get my first ever pin code in my email! haha)

Its just free all around. You get a package and you don't have to pay for the dining plan.

I get that... but saying "the dining plan" is pretty vague when there are 3 different dining plans:
1) 2 Quick service + 2 snacks + refillable mug
2) table service + quick service + snack
3) 3 table service every day (maybe snacks on this, too? I don't know--and I'm sure they aren't giving this version for free)

I think in a previous offer, it was quick service if you were in a moderate and opt #2 if you were in a Deluxe...

So, that's why I was curious about the details...

I got it too - that's offer #2 for me and because of it, I'll be going in April and August. Can't pass up a great deal!

Next trip in 10 days and counting! :sohappy:

I just received the email myself. It is really vague as it just says "Most of Your Meals" are included. Plus it is for one park a day not park hopper. Just an FYI for people who haven't received the email.

How they send out the pin codes is a total mystery to me. Yesterday we received one via mail in my husband's name, for the $500 gift card deal, for bookings between March 1 and mid April. Never mind that we're already going to be there the last week of February, and my husband has never booked anything at WDW. I've booked at minimum one trip (in my name - he and I have different last names) per year for ten years now, and I've never gotten a pin code in my name. I'm not even sure how my husband's name would have gotten on their mailing list in the first place. Baffling. :brick:

Well DH got the pincode for free dining today in his email and he has never ever gotten one! Funny thing is we book in his name. I get them all the time and had one in snail mail today for kids play n dine free but is in only for March 1- April 16. OSunds like there are alot of different ones being put out there.

DW called tonight. It is the one sit down / counter service / snack per day. We only checked Pop and Riverside. Both were available and you need to have a one day ticket for your stay. Same type of free dining as offered in past years. Hope this helps.

I got the free dining pin code offer yesterday too!!! I inquired and the trip is pretty cheap with the discount offered, so I am definitely tempted to book another trip even though I was just there is December!

Heres my question, I would have to go in August, because I do not want my son to miss an entire week of school. How is the weather then? If you had a choice, would you go the week of 8/16, 8/23 or 8/31 which is the week leading into labor day. Ideally, I am looking for good weather and less crowds.

Thanks!

The later in August that you can go the better. We have been twice the last week and into Labor Day. (because more schools have started back in the south) The crowds are not that bad at all but the heat is still pretty intense. We like it though.

I got the free food code as well, ans its rather meh. I feel the go 4 get 3 free is a better deal.

I will be willing to sell my code, bidding starts at 200.00 dollars American.

Thanks DisneyShe, I was sort of thinking the same thing... The later in August the better being that schools in the south will already be back in session. Believe me, I totally get the whole heat thing, but I personally rather deal with the heat then the crowds. We were just there in December and let me tell you, it is my new favorite time of the year to travel to the world. The weather was absolutely perfect and the crowds were minimal. Thanks again!
